Caros cidadãos,


Após o final da LETO e conjuntamente com alguns dos países que abandonaram a aliança tentamos construir uma aliança independente da Asteria e que defendesse os valores que entendemos essenciais para uma aliança: Amizade e Igualdade. Todos os países manifestaram o seu interesse. Participamos em diversas reuniões e juntos idealizamos a charter da Orion.

A Colômbia devido a uma série de mal entendidos que levaram a que abandonasse a primeira reunião, havia tomado a sua posição de forma precipitada, pensando que a aliança seria uma repetição da LETO. Se assim fosse, Portugal também não estaria interessado em fundar a aliança. Após dialogarmos e com base na charter final, ficou de repensar a decisão com o seu Congresso. Há dois dias atrás foi-nos comunicado que a decisão se mantém.

Respeitamos obviamente a posição do Congresso Colombiano. Reiteramos o nosso inequívoco compromisso com a CUAP. Como entendemos que somos países irmãos, com fortes e sustentadas relações entre as Comunidades, não faz qualquer sentido Portugal abraçar este projeto sem a Colômbia. Serve portanto este artigo para informar oficialmente que no presente mandato este projeto termina para Portugal.




Para os restantes, Canadá, França, Irão, Perú e Suécia, deixamos uma mensagem de agradecimento. Pelo esforço, pela paciência e pela enorme vontade em construirmos algo bonito juntos. Estamos convictos que este não é o fim, é apenas o adiar do inevitável. Estamos juntos, continuaremos juntos e em breve partilharemos certamente a mesma “casa”.

Fellow citizens, friends and allies,


After the rupture of LETO and together with other countries that abandoned it, we tried to build an alliance independent from Asteria that would defend the values we think are essential for an alliance: Friendship and Equality. All the countries expressed their interest. We have participated in several meetings and together we drafted the charter of Orion.

Colombia, due to a series of misunderstandings that led to an early retirement from the first meeting, took a stand in a rashly way, thinking that the alliance would be a replay of LETO. If that was the case, Portugal wouldn’t be interested in founding the alliance. We talked with them about their rashness and showed them the charter of the alliance that was already drafted, and they said they were going to discuss with the congress and would give us an answer later on. Two days ago they replied to us maintaining their position.

Obviously, we respect the position of the Colombian Congress. We reaffirm our commitment with CUAP. Since we are brothers with strong and sustained relationships between the two communities, it doesn’t make sense that Portugal should embrace this new project without Colombia. This article attends to officially inform that in this mandate this project ends here for Portugal.




To the remnant countries, Canada, France, Iran, Peru and Sweden, we leave a message of appreciation, for the effort, the patience, and the willing of building something beautiful together. We are sure that this is not the end; this is just the delay of the inevitable. We are together, we will keep being together and soon certainly we will share the same “house”.
