[PotUS] The First Day At School

Day 1,328, 03:11 Published in USA USA by Blank Keating
Good 6AM, America,

Everyone in this here administration has been working hard for you. We're getting worn into our new shoes, meeting new friends and taking on new challenges. But that's not why I'm talking to you. I'm talking to you because it's time to eat breakfast, and the right way to start off the day is with a hearty bowl of transparency.

(Not really, you should eat something solid.)

You may have noticed we've gone to war. Not just any war, but war with one of our most bitter rivals, Indonesia. Indonesia has one of the smallest holdings on North America since Hungary used them as a war path to China, so we're attempting to push them off our glorious continent once and for all.

In more recent developments, Poland has wounded our bros to the north and has declared us an enemy to get past Alaska and into our friends in Russia and China. Alaska should be the only point of contention between us and Poland, but if they do attack our holdings in the midwest in the future, they will have to be stopped at all costs. Make sure you're paying attention to the DoD orders or NBS to be sure your damage is helping the cause.

And now, a heart to heart. My cabinet is 98% complete, only a couple spots left. I'm confident with all of my secretaries' and my own choices, and we are past most of the staffing issues and onto actually pushing forward. There has been one point of contention I can think of, the addition of Pfeiffer to my lengthy roster, which has been a dream come true for a lot of drama fans.

I'd really like to clarify that this was not a kickback or a political or friend based appointment as some have rushed to j'accuse. Pfeiffer is a dick. However, he is also a hard worker and commits himself when he enjoys the task he has. He applied and expressed his interest for the position, and I let him do it. I would've considered anyone else in the same fashion. I'm not asking you to like him. I'm asking you to trust my judgement, or at the very least, not care.

In other news, something we can all agree on, Pizza the Hut is not part of my cabinet and will never be part of my cabinet. Go laugh at him.

The Department of Media has started off explosively. I'm serious, gnilraps has really gone above and beyond. The latest White House Press Release makes up for about a dozen that were missed before. You must vote this stuff. Read it all the way through for awesome points. The DoM has also been on the dime with updating the National Broadcast System. If you haven't seen either of these things, you need to right now: here, and here.

The Department of the Interior is rolling along as well. Meals on Wheels, eUS Mentors, Community Development Program, bewbs4newbs, Evac and NASA are all rolling and helping America's troubled youth hold Hungarian flag bonfires and steal food crates from double Spaniard camps. If you're interested in joining this fold, talk to my VP, Marxus, who's been tasked with reviving the Intern program.

Until next time,
