[Plea] Iain Keers' Reignition of the Media Battle, Hypocrisy?

Day 1,823, 11:02 Published in United Kingdom Norway by Major Lee Hung

Hello dear readers,

I wouldn't normally do this, I'd normally send a nice private message because I like to speak my mind. However, when somebody does exactly this and makes their personal quarrels a public matter for no logical reason, I'm sure they deserve the same treatment. Isn't the rule, 'treat others as you would expect them to treat you'?

For somebody who acts like the innocent in this whole thing, it is largely hypocritical. Both sides are guilty, and despite the apology of one side, the other insists on continuing in what's nothing more than a political tactic.

History

It's recently come to mine, and most probably your, attention that lately the little war that was ongoing in the media module was almost dying down. Goku Jones admitted his large party in being the catalyst of the events and his friends had unofficially apologised for their schoolboy bullying tactics.

Overview

In-coincidently, this little 'war' was immediately restarted following the return of Iain Keers, who felt he just must make this little battle public again, right after it had started to dissolve.

Why?

My question is as follows, why must you do this Mr Keers? You have in-game messaging to resolve your dispute with Goku Jones. I used to be a subscriber to your news paper and enjoyed reading your articles, but lately they've become beyond immature and irresponsible.

When this media war is closing, why must it be restarted publicly? Everything you put in to your articles aimed at Goku Jones can simply be sent via in-game messages, the forums, IRC or whatever. I see no logical reason to cause a national partition again.

Making this debate in the public causes a lot more problems nationally than it will solve with your personal dispute. The whole of the eUK doesn't want to see this pointless debate again, and it's causing many people to lose hope on the eUK, makes us look immature in front of the rest of the eWorld and more importantly, causes a partition in which two sides of the eUK are forced to take a side.

Plea

My, and probably many other people's request is that this be taken to somewhere else other than the media module. This debate basically comes down to 'my put downs are wittier than your put downs, look how witty and awesome and superior I am everybody'.

This isn't a personal attack, but a public request to stop your public campaign against somebody you have a personal debate with.

I've said the same to Goku Jones in the past, so I'm completely neutral in this little debate.

Show some maturity and put an end to the school playground approach to your dispute.

Thanks,
Joshua Whelan
