[Nov] Congressional WTF Proposals [20th]

1,827 jour, 10:01 de RebelBlood
It's that time of month again when yours truely calls out some not so productive members of our congress.

Congressman: Hanibal LA
Party: AFA
Link: http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/USA/118744
Proposal: Donate. Do you agree to transfer 100050 USD from the country accounts to Vojno Tehnicki Institut VI?
Vote: yes(15) no(42)

Hanibal LA proposed to transfer 100k+ usd from our national accounts to the Serbian military! If this would have passed: the eUS treasury would be out 100k usd that we use to fund our own troops and our Serbian enemy would have the means to purchase over 5.5k Q7 tanks @18usd a piece in their war efforts against us and our allies.

Congressman: Hanibal LA
Party: AFA
Link: http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/USA/118939
Proposal: Donate. Do you agree to transfer 98000 USD from the country accounts to Canadian Ministry of Finance?
Vote: yes(10) no(43)

Hanibal LA proposed to transfer 98k usd from our national treasury to Canada? If this would have passed: the eUS treasury would be out 98k usd that we use to fund our own troops, Canada would instantly become a threat to our national security having the means to acquire 5.4k Q7 tanks @18usd a piece.

Congresswoman: Molly Emma
Party: Fed
Link: http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/USA/119202
Proposal: Donate. Do you agree to transfer 10 USD from the country accounts to Congressional Budget Office?
Vote: yes(42) no(14)

Molly Emma proposed the transfer of 10 usd from our national treasury to the budget office. After discussing this matter with a few congressional members I've learned that once a day (and only once a day), up to the amount of 300k usd can be donated from our national treasury to fund our government and military. A proposal for this few of funds doesn't make a lot of sense as it limits our military funding. This would appear to be a wasted proposal, due only to the amount proposed.

Congressman: Enkel
Party: AFA
Link: http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/USA/119432
Proposal: Donate. Do you agree to transfer 100000 USD from the country accounts to Banka e Shqiperise?
Vote: yes(15) no(34)

Enkel proposed the transfer of 100k usd to the Albanian government. This appears to be a rogue attempt at painting the Albanians in a negative light to severe strong Albanian/American ties. In response to Enkels proposal, the Albanian government issued an apology to the eUSA, stated that they did not support this proposal and vowed to help the eUSA to battle possible PTO forces.

Congressman: invaluable
Party: AFA
Link: http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/USA/119552
Proposal: Donate. Do you agree to transfer 10 USD from the country accounts to Congressional Budget Office?
Vote: currently voting

invaluable has proposed the transfer of 10 usd from our national treasury to the budget office. Similar to the Molly Emma proposal, a proposal for this few of funds doesn't make a lot of sense as it limits our goverment and military funding. This would appear to either be a deliberate attempt to limit military funding or simply a wasted proposal, due only to the amount proposed.

Congressman: Gregor1980
Party: AFA
Link: http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/USA/118773
Proposal: Impeachment. Do you want the current president of USA to end this office?
Vote: yes(22) no(36)

Gregor1980 proposed that the current eUSA Potus Cerb be impeached. Why? I haven't been able to establish grounds for impeachment, so best as I can tell from articles/posts by the AFA political party leaders and members that they view Cerb as part of the elitist regime that they are battling against.

Congressman: Gregor1980
Party: AFA
Link: http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/USA/119431
Proposal: Impeachment. Do you want the current president of USA to end this office?
Vote: yes(20) no(33)

Gregor1980 proposed that the current eUSA Potus Cerb be impeached. Why? Just like Gregor1980s previous attempt at impeaching the president, I couldn't establish grounds for this proposal. Once again it appears from articles/posts by the AFA political party leaders and members that they view Cerb as part of the elitist regime that they are battling against.

Congressman: sofocle1
Party: Friendship & Honor
Link: http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/USA/118884
Proposal: Natural Enemy. Canada has been proposed as Natural Enemy.
Vote: yes(21) no(27)

sofocle1 proposed Canada as our natural enemy. If this would have passed: being that this proposal was immediately followed by Hanibal LA's proposal to transfer funds to Canada, our military would be without funding and our newly voted natural enemy Canada would have the means to acquire 5.4k Q7 tanks using our funds to battle us with.

Congressman: sofocle1
Party: Friendship & Honor
Link: http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/USA/119056
Proposal: Natural Enemy. United Kingdom has been proposed as Natural Enemy.
Vote: yes(15) no(40)

sofocle1 proposed the United Kingdom as our natural enemy. If this would have passed: our nation would have a natural enemy, however this choice of nations that sofocle1 decided upon wasn't logical for the current battles that were being waged.

Congressman: Viarizi
Party: AFA
Link: http://www.erepublik.com/en/main/law/USA/119214
Proposal: Natural Enemy. Mexico has been proposed as Natural Enemy.
Vote: yes(22) no(31)

Viarizi proposed Mexico to be our nations natural enemy. If this would have passed: our nation would have a natural enemy, however with our military agenda focused on Chile, there were more logical choices for a natural enemy. AFA party leaders and members have commented in posts/articles that one of their goals is to obtain resource bonuses by way of invading Mexico. That in itself if logical given that our nation has done just that in the past, however pushing the resource bonus agenda at the current time resulted in a wasted proposal.

Morale of this story? There's definitely some shady behavior going on behind congressional doors. Some of it might be inexperienced and/or uninformed congressmen/women, however the bulk of the above proposals should offend you. Not all but most of these proposals have implications of causing harm to our nation and we simply cannot afford to have so called leadership like the above individuals. If you voted them into congress shame on you! It's time to make an example of these people so come next election I say "Keep Them Outta Congress by NOT voting for them!"

I raise my whiskey glass to the outstanding congressional leaders who voted against worthless proposals!

Jason Statham Jr
Jason Statham Jr 1,827 jour, 10:33

why don't people just come to the congress public channel or pm a congressman to ask these kinda things and not make a fool out of themselfs

RebelBlood
RebelBlood 1,827 jour, 10:36

thats a great question Jason, why don't congressmen/women log onto the congress public channel, read the congressional debate section of the proposal or educate themselves in regards to current proposals?

RebelBlood
RebelBlood 1,827 jour, 10:46

@Nikola - from a little research and discussing that issue /w current congressional leaders, it's my understanding that there is no way to determine how a congressional leader votes or a means to determine the track record of congressman/woman

@RebelBlood my comment was for you lol

We have a forum where Congress discusses everything we do, if we do it its couse we have serios good reasons, if AFA does something..well thats just couse Ajay wants power lol virtual power ^^

@Jason *blushes* oh, lol

So the only issue that you have is with me reporting the 10usd donations? You'd be suprised by the number of congressional leaders that don't have a clue what that's all about, let alone lil ol rebel citizens like yours truely

I know it's not really a democratic thing to ask, but congressmen should just say why are they voting yes/no (before they do) and maybe give their pros and cons on the forum...

I mean we know when there's 10 opposite votes they are probably coming from AFA, but when there's more it means that some other people have their doubts. Especially those impeachment proposals...it looks like few more people has some things to say.

The $10 one was in order to keep a proposal on the table, at a time where we couldn't make a full proposal. It was to keep an AFA congressman from making a rogue proposal, and tying up our money.

I made one as well last week. As have quite a few legitimate congressmen.

^ That

MPP's and New Citizen Fee's cost. Those can still be messed up if AFA "donates" all in our treasury as it holds the money in a "Frozen" state, meaning it's not there, but it's not where it's going either.

By Proposing to donate $10 a day, we 're stopping AFA from making silly porposals like the above, while still protecting our treasury. So while they seem silly, it's the best we can do at the moment.

Appreciate the explanations bigcdizzle and John Killah - that's a sound strategy for dealing with congressional members deemed to be hostile to the best interests of the e USA.

I wouldn't mind seeing an article education the masses on the inner working of congress if one hasn't already been produced *cough* hint *cough*

@Hanibal - big difference between famous and infamous, attempting to divert funds from the eUSA treasury to fund our nations enemies (ie Serbia) places you right dab smack in the later.....

@Hanibal - "P.S. Who voted yes/no on rogue proposals? +1" since the majority of rogue proposals are coming from AFA congressional members ........ you do the math genius

@Viarizi - who are you again? SSSHHH, doesn't matter cause _NOBODY_ cares muppet
