[MoE] Our country

Day 2,675, 13:24 Published in Nigeria Lithuania by Z E N D E R

Hello dear eNigerians.

As you all may know, our community is not really big. In fact, it is one of the smallest in eWorld. But as people say- quality is more important than quantity. As time passes, people from many different countries joins us, or on rarer occasions some legit new accounts are created here. Those people, who are new to our community may have some questions about what's going on and what to do here (well, at least I would). That's why I decided to write this article, in which I’’ll try to tell people who might want to join us (or already did) what can they do here in eNigeria.

So let’s say that you are just arrived at eNigeria. Probably the first thing you see here is that there are a lot of people from different RL countries. You might notice that the biggest groups are Germans and Argentines. Some people say that our country is PTOed by them. THAT’S A BIG LIE. As I am neither German or Argie I can express my opinion quite objectively:
You need to know that eRepublik is blocked in Real Life Nigeria by their Government. However, our current CP is 100% RL Nigerian. So even this fact denies all the PTO possibilities (at least at the current term), but I keep analyzing this further. Oothere has selected his government. It was his choice and he showed that he trusts the people in it. Let’'s look at those people:

As you can see, the majority of them are Germans. So if one of a few true Nigerians that are in our country wants to work with these people, how can they be considered PTOers?
Can'’t say the same thing about some people from Argentina, who even tried to put the dictatorship here and creeps from Portugal that have our Citizenship, who have tried to PTO some of our parties and gave CS to their firends without the agreement of the government. 😛.

What we’'ve got here?

Okay, so now that we found out that Nigeria is not a PTOed country, let’s continue talking about eNigeria’’s actualities for newcomers. After you arrived here, you might need some activities. We have a pretty active community compared to our population. As we are one of a few not PTOed countries which has less than 150 citizens, we are almost always fighting PTO groups. We'’ve already defeated Romanians, and really weakened Portugals, who in my opinion has no chances to win as they can’t even get to Congress. Now we have a new threat- Argentinians. We are always looking for people, who could help us defend our country from such groups.
So fighting PTOers is one thing. Of course, after you show that you can be trusted, you can try getting in Congress, or try working in the government. Here you will be able to improve your political skills, which you might need in the future. Being there shows you the mechanism of ‘’“How the country works’’” very well. If you are an experienced politician, your help is highly needed for us, so don’t hesitate to contact Contact CP Oothere for work as we are looking for new faces in the government most of the time.
Last, but not the least, we have a friendly IRC chat #eNigeria and a nice forum developed by Satyre Reynes.

Forum is mostly used by Congressman, but if you are a citizen it’s your duty to register there 🙂.

Some recent events and past glories

We are getting closer and closer to the date, when eNigeria will celebrate it’s first birthday. It’’s been an interesting year, so that’’s why I am preparing an article about what has happened since the day, when eNigeria was added to the map of eRepublik. But now let’s just concisely look through what interesting happened. Many people have predicted us a bad future from the very beggining. Soon after our capital protection has expired we were wiped by Greece and Argentina. In early August (or late July (can’’t remember)) we managed to succesfully Airstrike Svalbard Island, which was then controlled by eAustralia. We lost it after some time, but that got us another month with Congress. In fall, during the term of NorthAfricaCorps we managed to kick Greece out of our lands, but a new threat called Juve Leo appeared. After long months of fights with him we were able to block him from Congress or becoming CP for quite a few times. And then, probably our biggest achievement. Last week we had faced a civil war on our soil. Our enemy was people from one of the biggest and strongest country in eR- Argentina. With the help of many friends from all around the world we protected the democracy from ruthless dictatorship. The result speaks for itself.

We might be a small country, but with a rich history!

What you should be cautious of?

So as it was mentioned before numerous times, we have people in our country, that shouldn’t be trusted. If you are new to the community they may try to lure you to their side. It is really easy to convince such a person to join PTO group, as they usually don’t know who are the ‘’good guys’’ and who are the ‘’bad guys’’. That’s why I’’ll try to make clear who is who.

Sporting Party

This part was created by infamous person named Juve Leo. This person stole 500 k CC from Portuguese state’’s treasury and now tries to do the same thing here. He used to bribe players to join his party or MU, but now he probably run out of juice 🙂. The Sporting Party consists only of Portuguese players and Juve’s multies. Some fine examples are NigerBoy and Dayngn. Somehow these to players both uses Portuguese language in eRep as seen in several screenshots. They can also be seen talking in that language in comments. Today they both moved to the new Sporting party at almost the same time, so I think it's quite obvious that they are fake.
So here are some articles about these frauds:
About Juve Leo
About fake accounts

Players from this movement often insults people, who stops them from achieving their goals. The other thing, they do is spamming our media, or comments under articles with their useless stuff, so that makes them nothing more than trolls (or 13 year olds, who seeks attention). Last, but not the least, they are supporting the thieves of our National Organisation Central Bank of Nigeria. Not to mention that they have taken over two small parties (at the very beggining of their acts) and tried to do the same in one more.

Try to avoid these people as much as you can and don't forget to laugh as hard as you can when they fail.

So that’s all what I wanted to tell You today. Stay tuned for more articles coming in following days 🙂.

Cheers,

Z E N D E R
