Your thorough failure in leadership has resulted in the once-mighty MDP not only losing its vaunted "Top 5" status, but also nearly all of its active membership and every god-pounding shred of respectability it may once have had. The founders have fled and started their own party, and have ousted MDP from the Ruling Elite, which is Where. We. Belong. I mean to put us back there, and to backfill this disastrous, stinking quagmire you have left as your legacy.
The gauntlet has been thrown. That's the gist of the letter.
