[Kylero for CP] Short and Sweet
Kylero
The election is in a few hours and I just wanted to give you a VERY brief overview of what I hope to accomplish as your CP:
Economy
- Raise import taxes on weapons and food to at least 50%
- Reform spending in a way that leaves us with a balanced budget in three months.
- Request that the Congress appropriate funds to allow for Monetary Market speculation.
Military
- Start an award/ribbon/medal system to reward soldiers on a weekly basis for merit, discipline, and/or valor.
- eBelgian War College
Politics
- Convene a Party President Summit (PPS) to coordinate in the best interests of eBelgium.
- Promote an inclusive and productive body politic.
National Security
- Appoint a National Security Director to investigate multis and track possible PTO agents.
- Push for an eBelgian Intelligence Agency to do stuff...intelligent stuff.
Cheers,
Kylero

Import Tax is al hoog genoeg. Wees blij dat er nog mensen zijn die op de Belgische markt willen verkopen uit het buitenland want de prijzen zijn echt wel lager.
We already have a balanced budget. Check your facts. And what else do you want to cut? Maybe we should stop helping our new players all together.
Kylero for President!
You are so serious (it's not a criticism) but it's in your favor, but my ehusband is on the list too, i must vote for him ^_*
u can't raise import taxes as cp, that's the congres' job
u've forgotten the cot repherendum
Lily, balanced budget? So our expenses equal our income?
@Kylero We've had a surplus over the past 5 days? And by tomorrow, likely to of been in a surplus in the last 30 days.
That's balanced?
You do realise we're richer than the UK too? So stop these lies about being bankrupt.
Lily, you can't just look at the window where there are no BNA expenses, as that budget is awarded in one go, and continues to decrease, even if it does not show in the belgian accounting. Only reasonable way of calculating is adding the BNA accounting on top of the eBe accounting, or take a window in time that includes at least one BNA spending. Just saying. No we are not bankrupt, but yes we are spending more than we earn. Anyways, let's see with the new CP
Some good ideas but not enough to be a good CP! Work on it if you want to be one day elected.
@SX80 So you're suggesting to cut the very thing that gives us our tax receipts? If we actually exploited the MM we wouldn't be in any economic problems you're suggesting. The UK have told me they gain more from MM than in taxes. But of course, it's down to our spending isn't it...
As I've just said, our economic position is BETTER than the UK. So stop making out like we're near economic catastrophe, SX80.
@Lily I was very factual and didn't suggest anything. I don't care if our situation is better or worse than another country. I simply state that we are spending more than we are earning, roughly 200K or more spent versus 40K on income per month. The tax returns are only a fraction of what we spent on purchasing them to begin with. Ignore that if you wish, but stop this BS about surplusses.
And I never said we are near an economic catastrophe either, don't put words in my mouth.
Kylero for President!
SX80 Look at the Belgian accounting for the last couple of days. If you look it at carefully you'll see that CC has increased. That's called a surplus. Google it.
"I simply state that we are spending more than we are earning, roughly 200K or more spent versus 40K on income per month." And you talk about me using BS...
Even if you take this month which mostly don't include the VAT and import tax rise, we had a 100k deficit for the month due to the BNA, you've said it was 160k. So don't use false facts next time. There is surpluses in certain weeks and days.
Try using the MM like the British do, when they get more out of that than in taxes. So don't go on about we need cuts to the BNA when we can do that.
God Lily, are you this naive, or you just pretending to be? I just told you that you need to take into account the spending of BNA.
Day 1803: 2,66 million CC reserves
Day 1841: 2.46 million CC reserves
So WHERE is your SURPLUS?
Me using false facts, get lost Lily. Finally get to see your true face and it isn't pritty.
And on the MM you know my position, I won't do that. I already told you. if that is what you want, find someone who can and will do it and give them a budget. How about some facts on the UK expenses and how much they are making with the MM? Can they cover a 200K loss in 38 days purely on the MM?
Good relations in this Government...
Calm down, SX80. No need to go off on a rant.
Day 1837 2,020,502 Day 1841 2,026,049 > That's a surplus.
False facts? How? I've quoted the details from the accounting documents.
Then that's your problem, isn't it? Making out like our expenses is sky high is ridiculous, when income is the problem.
I know the BNA costs are included. But cutting that is not an option. If you cut that then our income will drop. Where's the logic in that?
Lily you are UNBELIEVABLE! You use the day before we distribute 240,000 cc to the BNA as proof that there is no deficit. If you want to continue to blow smoke, go ahead. Once we distribute that money to the BNA, we will have a HUGE DEFICIT and will need to cut 210,000 cc into our reserves as we ONLY take in ~40,000 cc per month. If you think raising taxes will net us 210,000 cc...I've got a bridge to sell you! SX80 is right!
One more thing Lily, you were CP for the past month...and NOW you say we need to work the MM. Why didn't you actually do it when you were CP? Sure SX80 was unwilling to do it, and that's his perogative, but if you wanted it done, you should appointed a new MoF as you didn't take his advice AT ALL!
I have the accounting under eyes. The thing is, the spendings are punctuated every now and then, (MPP's, BNA, ...) , there is (almost) no constant cost factor. At the other side, we have the income that is constant. So between spending cuts we have surpluses, but they don't compensate the cuts totally. The deficit this month is 157k. So there are no diving reserves, we're still above 2m, but it is not completely stable as we lose more than we earn. The goal was to reduce the deficit: done.
Thanks Yannis for agreeing we have a deficit, a rather large one. Lily says we dont have one at all and instead we have a monthly surplus...cant wait for her to claim credit for reducing the "non existent" deficit.
