[KHMC] Let's Do This Again

Welcome eAustralia,
I write to you as I scull Belgian beer in Brussels (who knew the Belgians had good beer?). And I would like to thank the KHMC for electing me to another term as PP.
Last month felt like a minor success, definitely a bit more activity and the most represented party in Congress. Pretty tangible targets, though the latter still surprises.
Something I would like to address (slightly intoxicated I should stress) is the not so recent CP elections in which Dio Pumba was elected.
It appears I have received a fair bit of flak from my decision not to support either candidate in the race: Dio Pumba and Straus Khan. Mostly from the aforementioned candidates I should add.
My reasoning for this, much like the reason I gave before was that neither candidate made a real attempt for our support. What I mean is more than just asking, I want the days where candidates fought tooth and nail for party support and to not just expect it. When we don't, we get candidates such as myself, Pheonix Green and blackwood.
Dio has been sub par so far, his article about his brother is QQ but his departments seem to be okay. And he has released a couple of articles himself. My favourite article so far from this administration is the one in which someone (can't remember) brought up the budget reform thing.
Not because it was right in anyway (it really wasn't) but because it got people talking. When people talk they become engaged in this game. And that article certainly did.
It's okay to release articles about what you are doing, but it doesn't do much in terms of public discourse other than prove you have done something as CP.
To end my ramblings, I will support ANYONE with a vision and the tenacity to follow through. To rejuvenate activity. I am not looking at anything major but to get people to even look at the media or that Government is actually cool like it use to be.
To move on to a completely different subject with no segway is the conversation on Senate. We probably won't get it. But if we do, please contact me straight away or miss a spot. Pretty simple.
Forsei is my VP of course, but I am looking for any available talent to join our team and fight him to the death for the spot.

Is spot on, CP's recently have had no drive in keeping the community going rather just there to keep appearances and a shiny new medal.
If you want to talk with your upcoming senators make sure they are getting involved in discussions as opposed to sitting on their hands waiting for somebody to tell them what to do. Get them to stand up to cabinet to ensure information to the public is being sent out and people are informed. Pretty tired of the standard

You say that Guag you beast but i remember when senator candidates used to make an effort too. The KH has a current senator on his second term without even a hardworker medal...thats whats wrong with the game and eAus as well as what you stated above.

So HT8 you disagree that the medal was the focus from the last few months of CP runs?
You also disagree that the senate is made up off sheep and the information given to the community is really poor compared to when Venja, Paul etc were part of the government?
Before BOUD1CCA dismisses your point of view Henry as you currently are not an Aus citizen can i say this - No the biggest problem is when Commanders refuse to set orders to fight for allies when there is an Aus battle still going on that is unwinnable and in the last rounds and Aus didn't even get in double digits...that's the definition of numbnuts and selfishness which impacted on Aus in the eyes of our allies.
The point i was making is when you put forward clearly inactive players to senate then you can't be surprised when they give you an inactive senate. An inactive senate helps no community as you need one with balls who will chomp at the CP's heels to make sure things are happening. Senate has become a poodle and never questions anything anymore as you can tell from the country's admin panel - last months farcical AS being the perfect example how not one senator even looked at the Swiss shield and its size.
Aus needs activity in senate as much as Government, both should work hand in hand.

This is the type of 1 sided elitism you are trying to implement, you get my comment deleted because you are scared of the unknown and other thoughts than your own.
I've been part of Aus for 6 years now, I've seen more than you can imagine and what's happening right now is hardly even a scratch on the kinds of things we've been through in the past.
All I'm saying is you need to try harder to maybe work with these people rather than devoting all your time into ridiculing them, then you might get closer to what you are after 😉
Welcome to my world I am on 3 FP's this week for just gifs and links i posted in humerous articles, but i do find your toy throwing rather amusing that you get a comment deleted so it must be elitism and people are afraid of your thoughts...when myself and Icetek used to have long discussions then my God people were very afraid judging by the way Plato was dishing out FP's and media bans to us both.
Also it takes both sides to work together hence the term 'together' and if one side isn't bothered about putting in the work and couldn't care less, and would rather just sit on the sidelines and throw rocks then you get the type of community and inactivity that you see today 😉
I am not agree about the AS stuff. The purpose of it was not successful landing - that could be a bonus, but still not more than 20% chance. You know what we did it, I know it too, even if no one explain it to us. I am still waiting for an article with proper explanation. As you experienced player you must know that being part of LETO/Asteria alliance we need to contribute somehow. But we can't do that with big damage 🙁
I agree about helping allies Seemore, but lets be honest what would have helped more - giving LETO say, 50,000cc, for Campaign Orders or launching an AS against a country with a large shield without allied help because they were all busy with other major campaigns? Also if Aus was told they had to launch one then why not against a country without a shield?
I was calling for a Plan 'B' a full month before that and it was the perfect time to have a land rent sorted because it was obvious Argentina would be onto pastures new soon enough. The AS sadly was a wasted opportunity and used for the wrong reasons and the fact nobody was told about it until the day it passed senate is quite astonishing considering the day before their as a 10x reward for BH gold and possibly some Aus fighters would have used a lot of tanks and energy bars in that.
My point originally is still valid that senate NEEDS active players and players who are going to question decisions rather than blindly follow them.

My opinion is that AS option is pointless for us. We can do successful AS anytime we want. Latest news are that we can ensure launch pad when we need it without any problems. Renting foreign regions is the easiest part - already done by the cabinet. The problem is staying there - we might be attacked by another nation by AS or direct battle (Scandinavia) or we can lose the territory with RW supported by our enemies (Jizan). Being for one month in foreign territory is not a big deal - we must have a permanent solution.
Our AS against Switzerland costs 103 K without the food (donated from Alex). I think the reason of that AS was bigger sacrifice than easy given 50K in CO.
The problems in the past was because our first AS was to escape Aurora who wanted us wiped, that issue isn't an issue anymore...yes they want our regions but Aurora no longer wants to chase us across the globe. It also didn't help that the CP after Claire never paid the rent on time so Greece thought we were taking the p1ss and no longer had us down as their priority.
Scandinavian AS was overly awkward, too complicated and involved too many nations also at a time when you had a hostile nation (the eUK) in Scandinavia also.
I just struggle to see how a tiny community attacking a bigger community with a huge shield was seen as a good idea as a distraction. Especially when a RW with say 100,000cc CO's against Chile would have been more of a drain. Or, if an AS had to be launched, an AS against Chile (doomed to failure i know) would have been more fun and a little bit of a slap on the backside to Chile.

The main idea was that we helped to Montenegro somehow. I don't understand the military strategy, but it seems like a good chance to build another friendship.
Aurora will not chase us, of course - who cares about Australia? Our enemies will start RW making a diversion this way. LETO must to choose - helping us (for first 4 battles) or helping Asteria, because AS we know if we lose first few rounds during the RW, then FF hunters will kill us.
Even funnier especially as it is supposed to be serious (maybe its Greek humour?)

What i am saying and even as a multi account you should see this - that there are more STABLE and stronger countries out there that provide MORE supplies than Brazil - Greece for example where i currently have easily produced more food and weapons that Henry for the past few months. No sorry for the confusion, but the offer of putting in a word for Greek CS is a genuine one...there are more and stable produce bonuses which will be more useful for supplying your MU.
If it's maximum bonuses then i will, but my only problem is my mail system, It doesn't work :/
