Day 2,441, 22:46 Published in USA USA by Mr.Jtmedz

Hello eUSA! In today's edition, we will be presenting to you two of our eNation's next president
to be. It's in this time that we will expect to read from them their promises to the eNation, including cabinet (if/when in office), their wishes, and why you should even vote for them in the first place. As we learn more about our candidates for this upcoming presidential position, we constantly let it bug us in the day and night, as we sit at our most beloved computer station. The last thing we ever seem to worry about is what our next president will look like!

*There will be a survey at the end
*The interview process was simple. These two presidential candidates received a link to questionnaire where they chose 3 questions to answer. You will notice one of the candidates answered more questions. They asked me if they could answer more questions and I said go ahead by re answering the form

What had the most positive outcome in the last term?

dmjohnston wrote:
I think we made great strides in dealing with our allies and neighbors. The eUS often has a bad reputation and I've striped to make us more available and understanding when it comes to discussions with foreign contacts.

Why Do you want to run for president?

dmjohnston wrote:
I think that I showed last month that I have what it takes to be a good President and I want to continue to do so.

What makes you different compared to other possible candidates?

dmjohnston wrote:
I think that I'm decisive and dedicated to getting the job done. I have a range of experience that makes me well prepared for all aspects of the office.

If you could change one thing in eUSA, what would it be?

My campaign has focused a lot on Domestic affairs issues. I think we should put more effort into helping new players get involved. We have many good programs and simply don't advertise and use them enough. There's also room for many more great additions or changes to already existing programs. Putting more effort into new players is important for ensuring we grow our community. Most people like to use IRC chat and the forums and things, and it becomes more fun when we have more people getting involved in them. This is about improving the game for everyone as much as it is about improving the game for new people.

I like to give DMJ credit for running a fairly good term even with all the issues he ran into. I think they did a very good job in foreign affairs, adding Latvia to Pacifica and improving relations across the board, and those are things I absolutely intend to continue to work on should I win. He also tried out a new press release idea that was interesting and should definitely be continued now that the forums are back.

Irule777 wrote:
I believe I have a lot more passion and more ideas for some major issues facing this country. I've put forward an energetic plan for improving domestic affairs next month with many program ideas and ways to improve current ones and I have more on the way. I think being truly passionate about the issues you're looking to fix is an essential part of ensuring you're going to do a brilliant job on them. I've put together a good team for all my departments and I'm more than excited to get started on fixing some issues.

Mr. Jtmedz wrote:
What are somethings you wish to accomplish in this upcoming term?

Irule777 wrote:
I want to improve the activity in our education and interior departments. I want to get more articles out from both and have more advertising done for their programs. I also want to bring back the welcome committee, the ambassador program, possibly vortex, stack the wall, maybe the stock market program, maybe even look into building a task program into the workers program. I think we can do a lot better of a job getting new players involved and active. We can also use the worker program more and provide more opportunities for new players to get involved. I also want to provide weekly question sessions with the President to ensure citizens can stay in touch with the administration, all while continuing the current press releases, allowing for IRC queries of course, and answering PMs regularly to create a good line of communication (on top of articles). In terms of foreign affairs, I'm looking forward to working to improve relations with many nations in our regional area, those in Pacifica, and even several others. Sorry if that was a little long...

Mr. Jtmedz wrote:
What is one thing you would say to someone not voting for you?

Irule777 wrote:
I very much hope you look at my campaign as a whole. Not voting for me because of one cabinet member or one little thing is a very picky style of choosing, especially when the members of my team are experienced. I hope you look into my ideas and my passion behind the issues I'm hoping to solve. I'm not running for some fancy title, I think there's important issues we can put a lot more work into, and I very much intend to work hard for you next month.
