Dopo diversi mesi di silenzio, riprendono le pubblicazioni di Vento di Ponente, il vostro amato… stimato… malsopportato periodico. La numerosa redazione è stata molto impegnata in questo lasso di tempo a portare l’ombrellone avanti un’approfondita inchiesta che nessuno chiedeva, con insistenza o meno, ma abbiamo proseguito il nostro lavoro sicuri che saremmo riusciti a procurarci qualche FP. E per essere certi di non sfuggire alla rete degli amministratori, l’inchiesta uscirà in due puntate.

English is not my language, and for this I have always published my articles in Italian. But this time I decided to translate this article because I think that is of interest to the whole comunity of eRepublik, especially the second episode.

Il nome di Alexis Bonte non vi dice nulla? Probabilmente neanche il vostro a lui. Tuttavia dovrebbe esservi molto grato per i soldi che gli mettete nelle tasche perché l’enigmatico Alexis è il cofondatore e proprietario di eRepublik Labs, la società editrice di eRepublik, e vi parleremo di lui.

The name of Alexis Bonte doesn’t tell you anything? Probably even yours him. However he should be very grateful for the money that you put in his pockets because the enigmatic Alexis is the co-founder and owner of eRepublik Labs, the company that publishes eRepublik, and we will speak to him.



Il nostro Alexis nasce a Parigi nel 1976 - solo 2 mesi prima del direttore di questo giornale (recriminazione personale per i suoi soldi e quelli del direttore) -. Nel 1998 fonda la sua prima azienda che voleva essere la versione europea di ebay ma non va come previsto. Passa a lavorare in altre aziende degli esordi del web ma la sua esperienza la matura a Lastminute.com dove lavora per 6 anni anche come direttore del mercato italiano. Poi si sposta lavorativamente in Romania dove entra in Trilulilu.ro, una sorta di youtube rumeno, e fonda la sua creatura, la eRepublik Labs. Attualmente, oltre a questi incarichi, essendo un ragazzo pieno di energie (non per niente è stato campione di vela), è anche presidente di Zonga.fm e investe i vostri suoi soldi in numerose altre aziende nel campo del web. Stiamo comunque parlando di un’autorità nel suo campo tanto da essere stato riconosciuto Young Global Leader da quel club di morti di fame del Dopo Lavoro Ferroviario World Economic Forum di Davos.

Our Alexis is born in Paris in 1976 - just two months before the director of this newspaper (personal recriminations for his money and Director’s one) -. In 1998 he founds his first company that in his opinion it should be the european ebay but it doesn’t run as expected. He goes to work for other companies at the beginning of the web, but he matures experience at Lastminute.com where he worked for six years as director of the italian market. Then he moves for work in Romania where he came into Trilulilu.ro, a kind of romanian youtube, and founds his creature, the eRepublik Labs. Currently, in addition to these assignments, being a boy full of energy (he didn’t sailing champion for nothing), he is also chairman at Zonga.fm and invests your his money in several other web companies. Anyway we are talking about an authority in his field so as to be recognized Young Global Leader by the recreational association Davos World Economic Forum.



- Beh - direte voi – uno così sarà sicuramente un nerd sfigato!! – E invece no, il bravo Alexis è un bel fustacchio (si attendono parere eFemminili in merito) che vive a Madrid con la moglie e i loro 3 figli, che, come detto, è stato campione di vela e che va tutti i giorni come voi eCittadini in palestra prima di recarsi in ufficio. Sì, perché questo ragazzaccio vive sopra la sede di eRepublik Labs all’interno della quale c’è una palestra con personal trainer che lo aspetta per rinforzare i suoi bicipiti e quelli dei suoi sottomessi ovviamente. E senza pagare gold!

Il capace Alexis ama il suo ufficio e crede che sia importante creare un posto di lavoro rimunerativo accogliente con belle aree comuni, bar e home cinema; usa strumenti web, per esempio gmail o google drive, ma anche più tradizionali come i salvadai le moleskine; non ama lavorare con la musica perché lo distrae; fa più cose contemporaneamente anche se lo ritiene un difetto.

The capable Alexis loves his office and believes it is important to create a rewarding cozy workplace with beautiful public areas, bar and home cinema; he uses web tools, e.g. gmail or google drive, but also more traditional like the[/s]piggy banks[/s] moleskine; he doesn’t like to work with the music because it distracts; he is multitasking even if it considers that a fault.
