General government news
Forum language
All public forums posts must be posted in English, or must at least have a English version included.
The only exceptions:
* the general chat section where any language is allowed
* sections in the Political Parties sections, since a party can choose in what language they want to promote themselves and how communication between members should be.
Crime
An ex official working has been given confidential information to outsiders. We do not think that our nation is harmed, but it is a matter of trust. The punishment is that this ex official will not get any new job in the government.
Tax proposals
Yesterday the following was propose

It is very important to discuss first such proposals on the forum, so that everyone knows what to vote and why he/she votes in favour or against this proposal. Otherwise we can harm our economics and the government can come short on cash. The price of NLG can drop because more people can afford to buy gold. When our NLG is dropping all incomes will be lowered and price of raws we need will become higher.
Each congress member that starts a law proposal will have to make a discussion area. Please check that area before voting. If there is no discussion area vote no.

Beside the gold stabilisation, that the minister started last week and what was continued this week, the Ministery of Economic Affairs has started the in the government program agreed donation round for a Q5 Hospital in Brussels. Raw Materials
The ministry of raws has been busy last week with buying raws for the state companies and for private companies. More private companies asked the ministry to supply them with raws than the last weeks.

Who is the official that has been fired?
It has been long time ago that this happened. We only just found out. The government does not want to publish the name of this ex official. That way the person is not harmed much. On the forum of the government there is a topic so all new ministers can see who it was and why we do not want to hire that person again. We did not go to police neither to the court, we dealt with this situation ourselves.
Weekly news? am I missing something? You'd mean monthly.
I think it would be handy to post his name. It was his choice and his mistake to do it. And the people should have the right to know who they should not vote for.

that are 7 days. 7 days is a week. 30 or 31 days are a month. so I dont understand what you mean Flando. 😛
The government decided not to post the name to not give more problems to this person. It was nothing to do with politics, so no worries about voting. I think it is also not useful to write about love affairs, parties or that someone skipped a day in training or fighting. Also it was long ago, we only published this so it is clear how the government deals with this kind of situations. I can understand everybody's curiousness, but it serves no public interest to publish the name.

How about honesty? If someone betrays the government in a sense he betrays the people the government represent!
I don't think it is smart to put such a thing in the weekly news, if you want to blame someone you should make an article with proofs etc (which you SHOULD NOT DO) or just be silent about it... I suggest the 2nd option.
@DanielB1989: The government does not blame anyone.
We are open about our policy. So we publish the policy in this case. And in the mean time it is a warning for others who think publishing confidential government information is smart to do.
