Here's the state of play at 23:59 (07:59 GMT) on day 2,623:
Early indications are that the vote is up by 39 from last month!
The seats appear to be as follows:
TUP - 11
UKPP - 11
UKRP - 8
WRP - 5
PCP - 5
I'll be back after 06:00 (14:00 GMT) with further analysis.
Wow, another clean congress election. No votes lost due to voting "irregularities".
So the seats are as predicte
TUP are up 9 votes, but remain on 11 seats. Both UKPP & UKRP are up 17 votes each and are both up 1 seat. WRP are thebiggest only losers, dropping 10 votes and 3 seats. PCP are slightly revived and up 6 votes and taking the third seat from WRP. UKRP & PCP both had their entire lists elected.

39 extra votes - interesting. I note our alleged active population has increased by nearly 300 last week or so - http://www.erepublik.com/en/country/society/United-Kingdom
I assumed Plato was just fudging the stats, and that the increase was due to less people voting last month as it was Christmas day.

I noticed some people login into the game after a long time, as a result of the eRepublik mail with the new updates and medals "coming soon", as they said in the mail...maybe that also had some effect.
yes, the worldwide population is up about 5k as well
