(eJapanese Government) About alliances

Dear citizens of eJapan,
As you probably noticed, we are leaving Nebula alliance. That does not mean that we have anything against any member country, and we will stay in friendly relations with them. Main reason was in a low activity in alliance. And when we saw yesterdays comment/question of one of the leaders of JS about our membership in Nebula, we realized that we have consensus in eJapan about that matter.
We wish all the best to remaining Nebula countries and to new leader of Nebula, ERCLES.
About eJapan future and alliance memberships, we were thinking a lot about that theme: some alliances are too big for us and for our budget for MPP-s; for others we are not enough big eCountry; and some alliances have open issues with our friendly eStates. Important thing is also that we are peaceful eCountry and we do not want to be a member of some alliance that have open issues because we have friends all over the eWorld and in almost every alliance. To some eCountries we show our friendship when we are fighting for them; to others when we do not fight against them.
According to the situation, we think that for us is the best to go in alliance with South Africa. We share common friendships with other eCountries; we have similar military strength; and we are loyal and well military organized medium-sized eCountries that will always fight and protect each-other. Together we have 11 soldiers with legend military rank, and 6 great pilots with rank CMS or higher; which is respectful military force, in the rank of one strong eCountry. We can see in the future if some other eCountry would want to join us in alliance, but experience showed that alliances with many members often do not last long. Our goal is on quality, not on quantity.

Thank you for the update! I'm glad to see eJapan move in a positive direction, and thank you for protecting us and our country.
eSouth Africa has been PTO'd, so that's an issue. Our Dictatorship working with their Dictatorship, puts a bad taste in my mouth.

Just because Japan is small the bigger countries should not dismiss us or we should not dismiss them but partner with any big country that makes sense Japan can afford. Any big country could serve as a shield due to how small and vulnerable smaller eRepublik nations like Japan are. Put divisions behind and think of the big picture of where Japan's marbles should be placed for its well being in terms of relationships. This is a positive as a new Japanese citizen I became a few weeks ago.
