Yesterday the admins started an exciting new tournament, National Shield! For the duration of this tournament the government will be providing free tanks! Scroll down to the picture to see how to receive these supplies, if you want a brief summary of the tournament read below.

This supply article comes into effect when current supply article exits the media - overlap to ensure total coverage.

As in all tournaments it is important that you fight as much as possible, but in this tournament it is especially important because we actually stand a chance of being top 10, I know a strange feeling isn’t it? This is because the tournament is done by proportional amount of damage, this means each country has been assigned a target damaged based on the strength of their nation, the rankings are then worked out as how much damage each country has done in comparison with the target.



As you’ll see on your home page there are both national goals and personal goals, for the purpose of this article I will focus on the national goals.

Plato is giving us two incentives for our nation to do well in this tournament; the first being that once we will receive gold if we manage to do a certain amount of damage. You will notice that the bar has a percentage; this is how much damage we have done compared to our target damage which is roughly 1.35 billion. Plato knew that many countries would surpass this amount so he set further targets after this which are percentages of 1.35 billion.

Here are the first few targets and their prizes:
- 100% (reached the target) - 250 Gold
- 110% (surpassed the target by 10😵 - 100 Gold
- 125% - 150 Gold
- 150% - 200 Gold
- 200% - 300 Gold
- 300% - 400 Gold
- 500% - 500 Gold
- 750% - 600 Gold
- 1 000% - 700 Gold

The next incentive Plato has given us is the Defence Shield. Very few details have been released about the Defence Shield, but what we have been told is that the Defence Shield will ‘absorb’ damage. There are different quality Defence Shields up for grabs depending on where we fall on the international competition. The rankings for this are worked out by how much damage a country has dealt compared to their national target.
