[DoCA] Are you new? Let us help you!
Department of Citizen Affairs
Greetings from the Department of Citizen Affairs! If you're new and completely lost, we’re here to help. This game can be big and confusing. We know, because we were all new once-upon-a-time.
Department of Citizen Affairs runs a bunch of programs to help you - the citizens of the eUnited States. Exactly what programs? Read on and find out more. Some are welfare-type programs, offering gold and items to new (and new-ish) players. Others are education-type programs, where you’ll be expected to apply yourself and learn a few things about this wonderful game.
So, you want to know about the welfare programs? Well, this is your one stop shop! Our three major programs are:
First off, we have Bank Up 2 Strength, which you’ll normally see shortened to BU2S.
BU2S is based off Google Forms and is for those players in Division 1 (under level 35). Just fill out the form’s questions (which are all really really easy) every game-day. If you manage to submit the form five times or more in a week then you’ll be sent a gold donation.
BU2S is designed to help you upgrade your training grounds. Why would you want to do that? Having a high strength citizenry will increase our national power. Strength wins battles. And, at the beginning, super soldier medals are a great source of gold income.
We also run Question of the Day, or QoTD.
QoTD is based on Google Forms and is designed to provide a small amount of food (energy) to players in Division 1 and Division 2 (under level 50). The energy distributed will easily cover your daily minimum tasks of working and training. You will have to answer a fairly simple question to get your food. This will help you to learn something about gameplay or the eUS community if you participate.
Our advice to you, as a new citizen, is to use the energy distributed to cover your daily tasks. Don’t run your food factory because that will earn XP. Unlike most games in the world, XP is the enemy! You don’t want any more XP than you have to accumulate.
Meals on Wheels is a similar program.
We call it….well, you guessed it, MoW. MoW is a food supplement for the especially new amongst you - those at level 30 or lower. It runs on...wait for it...Google Forms. Fill out all the sections (there are a few more than QoTD or BU2S) and by the magic of the internet food will arrive at your door . Et voila!
If you’re lost and all at sea over this (admittedly confusing and complex) game then please, keep on reading!
If you’re a self-starter and keen on Romanian-Engrish, the official eRepublik Wiki lives here. Some of the information is out of date because of recent game changes. If you’re not sure, or something doesn’t make sense then please feel free to ask! The comments section at the end of this article is a great place to ask.
Our flagship training program is American University. Students at AU can learn as much about gameplay, mechanics, e-history, economics, battlefields and foreign affairs at they care to.
If you’re feeling lonely in this big, wide e-world, feel free to drop by our community forums. Stay for a chat. Ask questions. And most importantly - don’t be shy! If you don’t speak up, people may never know you’re there.

Must be new. I have more BH than you... 😛
I'm kind of new. Help me pls, DoCA!
Long voluntary vacations don't count as being new. 😛
I'm pretty sure we can squeeze him into QoTD, as part of his re-edumecation. 🙂
I get way too involved in eRep when I do play.... My head would explode if I tried to work, play, and edumecate myself irl. I'm not as good as you, Jessina, hehe
Can someone tell me if it's worth entering the American University training program?
Yes! It's definitely worth entering!!
You'll get bonus stuff for learning the basics of gameplay. It's hard to see why you wouldn't. That said, if you enrol and find it unpleasant or unhelpful, please let me know. 🙂
Thanks for speaking up!
I sent you a PM - don't ever by shy to message people in this game. 🙂
Hello and welcome.
If you have any question about the game feel free to ask. You could also enter the training program at the American University. There you will learn a lot about the game and how it work.
