[DC] On Canada, Aircraft and Alliance

Day 3,168, 10:20 Published in Ireland South Korea by Don Croata

How’s going everyone? I hope you’re having a nice summer and still have some time to enjoy the game as I sadly don’t. I’m trying to keep in touch with things, especially Irish war involvement and Irish Army which is still working perfectly (kudos to everyone in HQ). .

Rylde & his girls invasion

Few days ago I was very surprised to see Canadian NE law on Ireland. What surprised me is that it happened without any reason except purely Rylde’s (and his servants) desire to oppress the weaker country. He’s know for it, he does it often and he always bend over in the end. I just don’t remember how many times did they attacked us for no reason at all. We have never ever wanted to occupy Canada, but each time they’d attack us alone we’d show them their place. It happened this time again. Canadian law has passed by 1 single vote (thank you loyal Cannucks) and their attack has begun. I was just waking up (yeah in 3am my time) because of drinking session night before. I was ready and fresh to spend few hours in this game. All of our allies has been informed, even the new ones (thank you Brazil!) has expressed their desire to help us. Our alliance, Adriatica has proved to be very motivated to help as well, we have warned many of our friends outside of the alliance as well, especially USA (and one very special MU - EZC) who offered us their full support. We had to spend some CO’s, but much less than they did. I think I only spent around 40k in first few rounds. It was enough to beat unorganized and divided eCanada. Canada didn’t expect us to attack and win Newfoundland and Labrador, they thought we’d just stop on defending our regions, but that wasn’t what we had in plan. Soon after taking NFL we’ve attacked Nova Scotia. Irish Army had strike in first round, our allies came to aid us (thank you Latvia!) and we’ve beaten Canada once again. Not just Canada, but also good part of their cash fund.

After closing our TW with the USA we’ve signed an MPP with them to express our good relations (basicly since the day 1 of this game). We didn’t expect to get involved in any further war, especially not that soon. Canadian invasion came like a blitz. Once again, we’ve proved that we aren’t THAT little. We can fight back, we can defeat enemy twice of our size. We are the Fighting Irish. There’s always someone around to help us. We’ve been loyal to our allies since Ireland has been added to the map and our allies are always rewarding it. We can only wish to be better and stronger so we can award them back more, but we are giving our best.

I am fairly sure that Canada will attack us over and over again and those battles will have the same outcome each time. Rylde is just that type. It’s not the Canada I remember. They used to be brave country, I actually thought of them as Irish closest allies. I’m not sure what really happened. Last time we had a war with them Rylde tricked us (offered us TW, started real war) and that’s the reason I don’t believe we’ll ever be in good relations with the Government of Canada as long as he’s involved. Now, I don’t want to tell anyone what to do, but having Rylde in Government is worst than not having a Government at all. He’s just that type of guy. No one respects him in the whole eWorld, I doubt any of his allies would EVER jump in to save him. He will turn backs to his allies and trick his enemies each time he has the chance. Anyway, Canada can and should choose better. If there’s any honour left in there (and there is for sure) they will finally start the resistance. Don’t forget that St. Colin’s spirit is protecting us even when he’s not playing.

Irish Airforce

Plato’s recent changes has caused many reactions in eWorld recently. Most of them has been negative, but I actually like the way they are planning. The point of Aerial battles is to give everyone an equal chance. And I support it. Now new players actually can make a difference, it’s still hard for them to beat the old players, but they are getting their chances. A new player can beat an old player in an aerial battle.

Ireland and especially Irish Army will consider making some changes to make the most out of this changes. We are a small country, with only few strong fighters and several soldiers who are fighting. There’s not more than 50 active players in here. We have the unique chance to improve our position in battle rankings. We have to take that chance. For now, I’d like to advice all Irish Army soldiers to use all of their food fights in Aerial battles, get your rank higher lads! Since the changes aren’t really all clear yet, don’t go all crazy about investing in Aircraft, simply fight in the battles and that’s all for now. If we get 50 active soldiers fighting in Aerial battles we’ll have 50 soldiers among the top fighters in world, and that’s much more comparing to 2-3 tanks we have in this moment.

The changes also caused all the markets to go crazy. Prices of Aircraft weapon was above 150cc at some point. Job market went on over 300cc per work. Now the things are coming back to normal slowly. The price of Q7 weapons stayed the same (which surprised me). We’ll see how things will go from now on, but there’s still not much profit to make. If you’ve missed the crazy first day then you definitly missed some strong profit. I did. But I’m on vacations.

Dictatorship strenght

Imagine if Canadian invasion happened in some of the ILP’s terms, we’d be wiped for sure. I’m very glad that this nation has decided to fully support the current Dictatorship with elected President Sluagh. Having no Congress has proved to be very effective and it makes all the things easier. Ireland is now making decisions very fast, we’re basing all the decisions on numbers and we are taking the best out of this system. We’ve had a TW, joined an alliance, beaten Canada (stronger country than us), we’ve supported people in their Training grounds upgrades, we’re using private money to fund Irish Army, we’ve created the strongest national army Ireland has every had, we’ve gave everyone a chance to contribute, to take charge of things, we’ve welcomed many new citizens. All of it wouldn’t be possible without this system of Government. Basicly, all I wanted to do is congratulate the people of Ireland on electing people such as Sluagh as their leaders. I’m glad to be here and Ireland is a great place to live in right now.

Alliances, friends & enemies

In our lifetime as a country we haven’t really made any real enemies except the UK. Canada has been our long time ally, while other neighbour countries was always full of respect for us and vice-versa. We’re just that type of country for ages. Even the relations with UK has been fixed and we’re actually friends now.

There’s been many changes alliance wise, but we’ve always stayed loyal to our friends. Remember when Bulgaria has left EDEN? We did the right thing back then, and we kept doing the right things. I would suggest all Irish citizens to avoid fighting against the countries who has been our closest allies. Especially Bulgaria and Macedonia. They have changed sides from our point of view, but they have never did anything wrong to Ireland. We might have some new allies as well, so fighting against them (for BG/MKD) would be VERY wrong, but don’t fight against old friends as well. I’m just saying this because I saw few individuals (CO and BH hunters) fighting in those battles and that’s not something we should do, it’s just not our style. Our orders will never be against BG/MKD and no one will ever be sent to fight them. Of course, maybe our alliance will attack some of our old friends, but our alliance should and will for sure understand our position and won’t ask us to join those operations. There’s plenty of enemies we can and we will fight. Macedonia and Bulgaria are just not one of them.

On the other hand, I would kindly ask all Irish soldiers to follow Adriatica’s order each time those are against the countries who wasn’t our friends. We have to prove that we can contribute. I know it’s a complicated situation, but that’s not our fault, we haven’t done anything to shuffle things as they are right now. Just stay loyal. That’s all.

For the end, one of my favourite quotes. It’s appropriate to use it today.
