[Cyprus-CP] About Work Tax, Fortum and Anan

Some of you may complain about high Working Tax (10😵 in our country.
Here are some explanations and the choice we have to made for our future.


.: About some eHistory :.



Last month, despite all our efforts, Cyprus has been erased by Hungarians forces.
Work Tax has been turned at that time to 1% to avoid revenue to our comrades.

After liberation, this tax has been kept @1% as no one cared.
Before my mandate, I made turn this tax back to 10% and the other VAT & IT (Import Tax) through our actual Ministers of Economy: Aggelos_K and KypriosEL.



.: About Cypriot community :.



Now, for some months, the Cypriot community relied on few players who use personal money to assure COs, MPPs,... the whole functioning of our country. I don't reproach them anything ; at the contrary. And Mithrantir has been of a great help for the beginning of my mandate.

Even if they are the first ready to help and share, this is not fair.
Not fair to take from them.

In addition to that, it reduces the democracy we worship as we kind of owe them something ; this is not an healthy political situation.

More than that, it disengages each one of us to take part of Cyprus ; of what made our force : the community. Solidarity and exchange is an important part we must not forget. And I'm happy to see people ready to help for AS, COs,... etc It makes us live!



.: About Budget :.



Last eRepublik tournament ended 340 days ago.
It saw eCyprus troops victorious.
Unfortunately, the different Governments of Cyprus have used all this money, and not much of it is left.

We've to take care of it.
I already announced it in my program.

Hopefully we'll have back our 40 congressmen this month.
Even if the income of these medals have to be returned by the elected people to the state ; this money isn't sufficient to cover all our expands.

40 medals @5G = 50'000cc
Just enough to cover our MPPs in time of peace.

Now we need also to prepare for war ; meaning more MPPs, COs, and fill our AS for potential attacks.


Actually we earn about 2150cc/day (~65'000cc/month) with the 10% WT.

This tax will be lower to what we think to be the minimum after the congress elections: 8%. This 'we' includes me and my Ministers of Economy: Aggelos_K & KypriosEL.

I know the impact on the people of Cyprus, as I pay myself more than 20cc/day.
Yet I'm happy to share it with the community.

20cc/day = 610cc/month = 2.45G/month

I think everyone here can give 2.5G/month to the state with all the medals earned, or please send me right now a message.

In these times of heavy prices,
For the ones who will miss the IRC operation (and the ones who will not), there will still be weapons distribution thanks to the effort of the community who gathered it.
