[CP] Second Update (Continuing Progress)

Day 1,671, 04:29 Published in Ireland Ireland by Winston Hope Smith

Again I wish to report that your Government is working away doing what needs to be done.

Congress

There was no registrations from Congress since my last term.

The prior liaison with Congress is continuing well and notice is given on most proposals.

As I said in my last report
"Congress has a large variety of opinions within it and each is valid as they received their mandate from the citizens of eIreland, My administration will continue to work with Congress to follow a path we feel is most beneficial for our country. However where Congressmen disagree with our ideas I hope we can agree to disagree on that issue and move forward."
This is still my view and while some votes this session were hotly debated the votes are in and I ask all Congress to accept the results and move on.

Since my last report there has been 8 proposals to Congress as follows...

Alliance - Greece Proposed by DimitrisZaxa (eGreek CP), Approved 30 - 3
Alliance - Australia Proposed by Winston Hope Smith, Approved 35 - 1
Alliance - Belarus Proposed by PaulFromMinsk (eBelarus CP), Approved 34 - 2
Donate to New Ireland Bank Proposed by Sir Arthur William Currie, Approved 32 - 3
Peace Proposal with UK Proposed by jamesw (eUK CP), Approved 15 - 3
Alliance - Singapore Proposed by Morphine (eSinapore CP), Approved 31 - 1
Alliance - Iran Proposed by Winston Hope Smith, Approved 36 - 0
Alliance - Turkey Proposed by Winston Hope Smith, Approved 26 - 15 (at time of writing)

Again I feel the voting turnout in Congress is excellent and I commend Congress for taking an active interest in the workings of our democracy.

Ministry OF Defence

With the Peace Proposal now signed with the eUK Auto Attacks have now ceased. However we are still under pressure in Scotland as every day brings a new RW. I ask every fighter, MU Commander etc. to check in with the MoD at #eire.mod to get directions on where best to add your damage. (also to get those lovely free Q6 weapons )

With the opening of the ICA Bootcamp the viability of the existing Boot Camp was questioned. My Government will continue discussions with all national MUs in attempt solve the differences. My Government is fully committed to the concept, support and most importantly neutrally of the Nation Boot Camp. That is why I entrusted them the full New Citizens Brief. However we also recognise that the game changes have made it imperative that the MUs restructure to make best use of their damage. Expect more news from this Dept.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Both Ministers Ethel Rosinenberg and Joey Millz are still working extremely hard and well together. Our MPP stack is on schedule (except from ePhilippines which we are awaiting contact)

The Ministers are in constant contact with their collogues across EDEN and further. We will cooperate fully in all meetings as and when required.

Boot Camp/Ministry of New Citizens

Since the MoNC was merged into the Boot Camp Irasian and his team have worked away making the life of the Baby eIrelander better and making progress easier.

As mentioned above the new ICA Boot Camp has put pressure here but with dialogue and discussions I am confident this can be sorted.

I will soon be getting into discussions with the Boot Camp to update our New Citizens Message so New Citizens get clear directions from the off on how best to get active in eIreland

Ministry of Community

We are awaiting the results of the Comic Competition to be published and hope we get some good laughs. I hope all eIrish citizens get involved in the voting

On one more note the publishing rate of eIreland has improved greatly recently and I would like to thank all the writers for taking the time to hit those keys. Keep it up!!

Minister of Finance

Nothing new from Sweet Drinker's Dept since the last update so I take that as a sign all is going well!
