Hi all
Sorry about the delay in getting this, my 3rd Article as CP, out to you.

Things are a bit hectic in this term with so many game changes but rest assured your Government is on top of this.

Congress

I would like to welcome all the new Congresspeople and welcome back returning Congresspeople. Please liaise and consult with your Government. If you have any questions for me or my Ministers please feel free to ask in the mass messages created or message us privately.

Again I hope to give as much notice as possible of upcoming proposals.

Remember that while sometimes we might disagree on a proposal once it is voted on, in whatever way, I would hope that it is then put aside . I ask that you consider each proposal anew.

Just a couple of things to note on the above
1. I am delighted that Congress supported the MPP with Turkey. This fulfils our obligation to EDEN.
2. The CP of Canada agree to propose the MPP so ending a bit of a stand-off. I hope that relations can continue to normalise.
3. As you know from THIS ARTICLE the new Rocket based economic module could have dire consequences for eIrelan'd economy. The MoF is taking steps for a temporary solution with 2 proposals on tax recently put to Congress.



Ministry of Defence


Again the MoD has preformed admirable in maintaining the regions ceded to us by the UK in the peace treaty. The constant RWs in Scotland appear to have abated (possible due to the eUK adventures in France)
The encroachment of eSpain on Canadian territory has provided focus. Some wished that eIreland had NEed eSpain but without backing of our alliance this would be a dangerous prospect.
Be assured we in the Government are activity looking at ways to provide focus and purpose to our armies, I know it is frustrating, but I ask that you please bear with me. Making the wrong decisions can be catastrophic as eUK found out when they got wiped for months.

The free weapons scheme continues and since 17th June 4017 Q6 weapons have been distributed. This is amazing and I wish to thank the team on supplies

Ministry of Foreign Affairs



The Ministers here again were exceptionally busy. Our MPP stack is up to date.
With the changes brought about by the Circle of Trust Alliance and with rumours of difficulties with other Alliances the work behind the sceans in the MoFA is immense.

Relations with countries that we should have excellent relations with, but for whatever region we don't, are a priority, and I believe we are making slow steady progress.

I ask Congressmen to be careful to whom you issue your Citz Pass to and if you want advice then just ask one of the the MoFA.

The forum vote is held up by matters beyond our control as one of the sites is moving server. Be assured we are applying pressure and I am assured the vote will shortly be up.


Minister of Finance



Big changes here since the introduction of the Rocket Factories. See Sweet's Article.
This is going to have drastic consequences on the Nation's finances
There two tax changing proposals recently gone through Congress. These are an attempt to protect our incomes putting our focus on food instead.
I am hopeful Sweet will issue an article on this shortly.
