We welcome you to this first blog of eRepublik NZ. Today, we want to introduce a game that all Kiwis can enjoy. This game is called eRepublik.
What is eRepublik?
eRepublik is a massively multiplayer online (MMO), social networking and strategy web browser game that allows players to participate as individual citizens in an online mirror of the real world. Developed by Alexis Bonte and George Lemnaru, it has since become highly successful with over 240,000 active citizens. eRepublik combines both Social Networking and Strategy into a single online game where players can participate in a variety of activities. Citizens of the eRepublik world can own businesses, form political parties, vote in elections, write newspaper articles, and even go to war as citizens of virtual versions of real life countries.
Upon joining, a citizen picks which virtual country he wishes to join. Each of these countries is named after an actual country in the real world, and is located similarly. The citizen then seeks employment at a company within that country, and is allowed the opportunity to train as a soldier for that country. Training, and working at a company is done on a daily basis.
What is eNew Zealand
eNew Zealand is one of the newest nation in the New World. Born on the 1051st day(October 6th, 2010), it has since grown to 867 citizens. The highest populated nation in the New World is Poland with over 21003 Citizens. With a growing economy, eNZ has many jobs and companies that one can choose from. eNZ is a prosperous place to live in.
eNZ is divided into four regions that we can reside in: Auckland, Canterbury, Otago, and Wellington. The majority live in Auckland due to the high resource of Grain, but we have other people living everywhere else. At our borders are the Aussies, whom we're having a good little war with, and Chile, who we just helped against Peru.

You should use a referral link, that way more gold is made.
Yeah I agree a referral system should be used.
Some good places to consider posting this: Gameplanet NZ, Geekzone forums. I'll mention more if I think of them.
I didn't really want to do that, because I didn't know who the referral should go to, and I didn't want to feel selfish. After all, what we're after is new citizens, not gold.
Do orgs have referral links? Or should I just use my own account?

I don't think orgs have referral links. Although I'm sure you could just set the link to someone known and trusted, then change it every so often.
Vote
