Looks like the Media Train is chugging into the 3rd Stop on this PP Term Journey, and things are still looking as smooth as they did when we started 10 days ago. Can’t believe we’re already 1/3rd of the way through the term, doesn’t seem that long ago I cracked my knuckles and go ready to devote as much time as humanly possible to the party.

It’s always an honor, but let’s not get distracted, let’s move on to the meat of the article.

Post Congressionals

After looking over the Election results, I can safely say without a doubt that I’m very pleased with how it’s played out yesterday! “But, AMP didn’t gain any seats!” I’m sure some will be looking quizzically at that statement and wonder how I can make it. Sure, we didn’t grow our congressional delegation which would have been the icing on the cake (Mmmm, Cake).

There are more to the results than what you can see straight out the gate. First, let’s point out that despite losing 11 votes from the previous month, we didn’t lose any percentage of the vote (Instead the opposite, like all but the USWP, whose party dropped 3.5😵 and of that I’m very pleased.

There’s also the fact that we got every single Congressman we wanted into congress \o/! Sure I didn’t get in, but that’s of no great consequence, since there was a reason I didn’t include myself on the ballot. It helped provide a barrier between true runners and those of us who ran to block unknowns accidently getting in should we get more than we expected.

I’ll be interested to see if we can grow all our metrics next month, and I think this months shows we’re still making solid steps and momentum in keeping ourselves established as a center of both experience and possibilities for new people.

The first weekly address and AMPR went out!

Definitely one of my proudest moments so far was successfully managing to present both AMP Radio AND Authoring/MMing’s the parties first Weekly Newsletter! It’s pleasing because it was one of my personal goals this month to improve dramatically on how much work i’ve done in the past and really push the amount of media and other mediums from the party via me.

First up, AMP Radio. Sure, I’ll be the first to admit the show didn’t get a huge audience like I would of loved, but let’s be fair in saying I didn’t advertise it as much as I could of done (or have done in the past with radio such as eNPR) … I’ll make sure to change that next time. However, the audience that I did have were extremely attentive and I can safely say that we had a good time talking about everything … I would talk, they would reply back in the IRC room.

Next week, I hope we’ll have a guest on to help increase the conversational options we have, I know there’s a couple of people who have expressed interest in being on one of the shows, and I have big plans for the finale show on September 13th (sugarfree is already creaming his pants at the thought of what I have in store).

Secondly, the Weekly Newsletter. As I stated in my last PP Address, I wanted to use the Newsletter as a way of contacting the ordinary people of the party who aren’t overly involved in the meta-processes of the party, and keep them in the loop so they know what is going on within our parties leadership.

In a way, I wanted this to be my answer to Largo’s Public PDB’s. I’ve made it clear in the past that I didn’t like the idea, but I never said I didn’t appreciate the premise behind the idea, which was always sound. So I felt if I wasn’t going to go down Largo’s route, then I needed what I felt was an acceptable replacement (in my own opinion).

Speaking of which, competition prizes will be going out in the next 24 hours for those that entered … I know greeling came several times.

#3 out of the way

We’re rapidly approaching the halfway point and things are progressing nicely. There are area’s that need to be improved upon, when are there never? But we’re not slowing down and I know the people working in Leadership are still pumped to push ever more to make the party better

Let’s keep rolling 😁

The man of Integri … who am I kidding, i’m just a joker really
