For starters, this is my 1st AMP Party President address to you. I wanted to take a moment and thank you all for your support in electing me. We were able to stem the tide together against that nefarious PTOer, John Largo.

And now for some important Congress information:

Below I will be attaching a link to the thread on the forums where you can apply to represent the AMP in Congress.

In this thread, prospective candidates will post their platform for congress. You should have filled out an application prior to posting in this thread. Also, DON'T FORGET TO DECLARE YOUR CANDIDACY FOR CONGRESS ON THE PARTY PAGE! A platform would include who you are, what sorts of experience you have, what you plan on doing in office, what ideas you bring to the table, and all other relevant information. This thread will be open until the 21st of the month to give you some time after filling out the application to add something meaningful here that the voters will care about. Once this thread is closed, it can be used as a reference for the voters to vote in the congressional primary. Remember, it's all about you, the candidate.

Some things to consider:
We have the highest of expectations for AMP Congressmen. If you cannot dedicate about an hour a day to checking Congress, voting and responding to things, than you shouldn't be applying.

That said, Congress is a great place to get your start if you haven't before. We have plenty of people around to mentor you, so don't be afraid. We will teach you everything you need to know.
