I've been in the American Military Party longer than I have any other party in this game. For someone who was at one point branded a party hopper and made fun of for it, that's a big deal. So with our recent total domination of the Congressionals, I wanna take a time out from trolling the forums and generally being my crappy self to do something I don't usually do: be thankful.

I first came into contact with the AMP about a year ago during a failed run for President. I came onto their forums, at first, just begging for their support; you know, that typical "candidate shows up, gets buddy buddy, says they love you, leaves forever" type dealio. I was just expecting to find a group that wouldn't really give me much guff, and that I might be able to win over to my side.

I am happy to say I was completely wrong.

I can remember Israel Stevens' grueling roast of me and my intentions there. He didn't hold back, didn't dance around politeness. He called me straight out on my malarkey.

And then others did as well. And honestly? It was one of the most refreshing things I've had in this game.

There's something that's been always different about the AMP to me. These are the guys I learned to love the game again with. We hosted NHL betting pools on our old forum, get up to crazy (and vaguely sexual) hijinks on our IRC, and generally just are a nice combination of chill but determined that keeps me coming back to be with them. I know parties are basically cliques these days, but I do declare that mine just might be the freshest.


Perhaps "freshest" isn't the right word, but you get the point.

Simply put, they're some of the best friends I've ever had in this game, and they make it worth playing.

BeachBunny, the sweet honey of the AMP, the PP, with legs so fine she got the CP on the DP.

Colin Lantrip, my main monkey, that old honky, aping around with that DK rap sound.

Alexander_Auctoritas, a bro so furious he gets fast with the caps lock and ass.

John Killah, the real killah, going super saiyan with no betrayin of this party that he helped.

Synesi! ...god what a douche.

And that's the lineup folks. I mean, there's also me, but I'll probably just get censored anyhow. Big shout out to our SFP bros Xander Wilson, Artela, and MaryamQ.
