Damn Swedes Kill them
I've got all the love in the world for the Dutch, and that's why I'm glad someone had the brains to vote them down. Ásgárd can't make them beat Poland, and Netherland can't help us beat ex-ABC. By accepting them we would've given Poland a lot more reason to intevene with our buisness, and the great realtionship we Scandinavians and Dutch have with eachother would've just end up decaying untill the Dutch would outragously leave the alliance because we never help them.
More important, you always toss out a million promises in your election articles but you never hand us any information about -how- you'll fulfill them.
Im pretty sure the Dutch were not joining ASGARD in the hopes that the alliance would free them from Poland...an alliance that is having trouble with ex-ABC will surely never beat Poland...
That's true! The Dutch did inform us in HQ that they weren't looking for any asistance, but the truth is that at any given time in the future the Dutch would eventualy change their mind. The people elected for the next month would maybe not be the same as the people who gave the promise that they wouldn't ask for any help. Sooner or later Netherland would break away from the alliance.

Could you please make an effort in giving me an explanation of what you suppose I'm talking about now, and what I refrained from talking about during the robberies?
If the Netherlands wanted help to regain a region, they would of tried joining CoT not ASGARD. However Im sure if they made a play to regain a region than yes you would expect your allies to put priority on you...like most alliances. Even when the Netherlands was in EDEN regions were not regained with the help of EDEN. And once CoT is finished you can be assured ASGARD will be next, if keeping the Netherlands out of the alliance was to stay on the good side of Poland, you can be assured ASGARD is next.
Ásgárd isn't keeping Netherlands out because we want to suck up to Poland, but because we want to remain on the good side with Netherlands. We'd love to have the Dutch here, but we can't. Taking the hit for rejection is a small price to pay compared to the hit we'd take for outsourcing Dutch infu. It doesn't matter if they join for millitary reasons or not. The truth remains that when they'll need help, we can't be there for them. Anyway, I don't see how not having Netherlands in our regional alliance will change anything. We can still fight for the Dutch, and the Dutch can still fight for us.
