Update From the Squadron

Day 824, 22:17 Published in USA USA by Office of the Chief of Staff

Greetings to my fellow eAmericans and our great Allies in EDEN across the Globe!

It is with a heavy heart that I must report that Archer Bullseye has stepped down from Directorship of the Squadron, citing Real Life concerns. He will be sorely missed by those of us who remain behind. If it wasn't for Archer, there would be no recreated Flying Unicorns. If you have a free moment, please consider PMing him to express your well wishes. He will still be active in Two-Clicker Ville, so he will be around!

Archer has asked me to replace him as Director of the Squadron. I could never hope to fill Archer’s shoes; however for better or worse, I have accepted the role. For those of you who have grown accustomed to the level of productivity that the squadron enjoyed under Archer, I ask for patience during this period of Transition.

The remaining personnel of the Squadron are as follows.

Joseph Dinero (Business Owner, Party President, Militia Member - Our Economics Expert)
revolgod9987 (Business Owner, and Congressional Candidate)

As for myself, I am very active in the Chat Rooms and have a fairly active eREP life. I presently enjoy the following duties.

Director of the Flying Unicorn Squadron
Backstop List Administrator for the Community Development Program
XO of the 122nd Platoon-The Warriors, 12th Company, 1st Division
Bookkeeper for the eInvestment Bank

If you have the time, come by the Chat Rooms and visit us in the USA National Chat room. http://tinyurl.com/yggxdnk

I would also like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for Maxx Johnson, head of the CDP; and the big boss himself, Jude Connors, Secretary of the Interior. Without Mr. Connors making it possible with his support and providing the resources, the Flying Unicorn Squadron would have never been reinstituted.

I would also like to say that it has and continues to be my great Honor to work with the fine Officers and Enlisted Men and Women of the Training Corps.

In closing, I feel that the Flying Unicorns serves a vital role in working on our Citizen Retention Issue. We make direct One on One Contact with as many New Players on a daily basis as we can. Some of us tend to forget that this is a Social Networking GAME, and the social part is very important. Sometimes the only motivation someone needs to stick around is a little friendly encouragement and a friend or group of friends. We try to do that in as big of a supportive environment that we can provide.

Again if you find a little free-time, come by the Chat Rooms and spend some time, perhaps you will get the opportunity to help a New Player into the game, at least you might even make a friend or two!

(This is the first Article I have ever written on here and I don't do the fancy pictures and stuff yet, so sorry if this is a little on the dry side.)
