Unite or Die

Day 1,925, 23:51 Published in South Africa South Africa by Lord Elrond Hubbard

I think we should take a lesson from the Founding Fathers of the RL United States of America. This was one of the most popular flags from the Revolution

Each divided peace of the snake represents one of the original colonies. There was a belief at the time that a snake that had been cut into pieces could be revived if put back together before sunset. Thus the phrase Unite or Die. It was originally used to rally the colonies against France in the French and Indian War and then again against the British in the Revolution.

I think this is pretty accurate for what eSouth Africa is like now. There is a lot of political in-fighting, and blaming going on. At the same time we are under attack from FYROMian PTOers that are becoming more and more successful as we argue more and more. It is now more important then ever that we put aside our differences to combat this threat and fix the country.

I believe that until this threat has passed leaders of parties and citizens should grant a general amnesty against one another, and work together for the good of the country

We will either unite, or we will die as a country. The choice is up to the citizens and political leaders of our country.
