Kevy Kev Kev Junior shabado here, Kevy for short. I’m here today to announce that I am going to be running for the position of Country President of the UK in September. This will be the third time I’ve attempted this feat and I’m hoping it will be third time lucky for me as I’ve unfortunately lost out twice so far, those defeats were months ago and eRepublik is a completely different game now. I’m looking forward to the new challenge and more importantly another interesting candidate from the UKRP.

Before I get into the basics I’d like to announce that the UKRP’s Thatcher will be my Deputy for the term if I am elected. You may remember him as the current MoFA or more likely the recent Campaign Hero for the battle of London. I’m sure with our experienced combined it will make for a great term If we win.

I’ve chose Thatcher as my deputy because he is a great servant to the UK. He has been a multiple minister of Finance and Foreign affairs and has had experience in both the Phoenix and Terra alliances in the past. This gives him the expertise in a lot of different areas along with the necessary contacts in the foreign world. (oh and not only will this hopefully open the way for him to run sometime in the future but it will also give us a deputy with a zero tolerance attitude, something which I always feel needs to be pushed in cabinet.)

My experience is a bit different to my main opponent. My time as minister includes three terms as Minister of Trade, one term as Minister of Profit and three terms as Minister of Home Affairs. With me you’ll get a heavy Domestic/Economic based candidate but that’s not really a bad thing. Being a successful CP depends on who you surround yourself with and with the people I have in mind (including Thatcher) we’ll have an awesome team that should have strengths in each area. I’ve also been Deputy CP before so I believe I have the capability to run this country.

One of the first things I’d like to outline is my cabinet structure for the month. This gives people who are interested in what my cabinet will be like if I win the opportunity to consider what positions they want to apply for. What I want the Ministers to actually do will be announced in a later article but here is a list of what I’m going to be looking for.

I’d suggest waiting for the actual manifesto before applying but if you want to then you can PM me on the forums or in game. I’d love to hear your ideas too for if you were chosen as Minister.

This article is the first of many that I will be releasing over the next few days. This one will be shorter than the rest as it’s only a declaration article with an outline for my next few. I’m going to go back to basics and use the bog standard three manifestos with Domestics coming up first. One of the biggest issues I had last time I ran was the fact my articles were TL😉R in most parts so I’m going to put a summary at the top for the people who are too lazy to read through all of it.
