Thinking MKD - BG

From the moment I was born, we were allies of Bulgaria, we never conceived the game without being an ally and brothers of the Bulgarians. They helped us to grow. Of course, that's undeniable, but we grew up and strengthened us in the course of the time. Chile isn´t any more the small country that always needed help because we didn´t have strong top divisions. In those divisions Bulgaria was doing the work and was helping us. But of course not everyone knows that we had to pay many of the d3- and d4-fighters for their help. I know it because I often had to pay those bills as a minister of finances. That doesn`t mean that I have less respect. I always looked up to these people: We were, we are and we will be brothers until the end of the game if they want to be it so.

With Macedonia I have no memories of my childhood. As I remember they were reluctant to enter COT. Only God knows why. They preferred to have a mini alliance with Indonesia and formed LIGAP becoming a duet respected by COT. That was perhaps one of the reasons which motivated Chile to include them within the alliance. As they joined COT I met Macedonia and I must admit, I really met it. I was quite uninformed, I really didn´t know the RL drama engulfing Greece and Macedonia with all its locks and crossbars. Thanks to this little game, it helped me to know something more about the world geography which I had not updated in all those years after leaving school. Since Macedonia joined CoT and seeing the passion with which the Macedonians played this game, I felt in love with them. Until today Macedonia is my second favorite country after Paraguay.

The past years we have spent fighting for them as they did for us as allies and brothers we are. I saw Bulgaria touching the sky, conquering and subdueing Romania, reaching Full Bonusses, having rental deals, some successful and some less successful airstrikes. However I watched how Macedonia was dying slowly. I had to watch how the power of MKD was vanishing - from having almost full bonusses to be bowed and humiliated every month by Greece without any hope to get liberated or to come to terms with Greece.

There are things which I personally will never understand in this game, and one of this things is to see how two countries can hate each other so much that they pass all that hatred to a game. Macedonia only wants peace and liberate itsself, even if it´s only for a moment. But the Greek intransigence won´t allow it. The only logical explanation, I can find, is that eGreece is full of sick people who are unable to separate things, albeit there are some in Macedonia, too!

As a country we had conquered several nations and with ALL - without any exception - we had rapprochements to reach some kind of NAP, including with Peru despite some RL resentments which exist on both sides.

It is for this reason that I think I would NEVER consider myself a friend or an ally of Greece, and I don´t know what the future will bring for my country in this game: if we will continue together with Macedonia and Bulgaria or if we will end up in opposing alliances or with Greece in the same alliance. But I never will hit for Greece because of the reasons explained above.

Now Macedonia and Bulgaria are badgering Serbia in an attempt to have more damage to beat Greece and in turn perhaps to achieve a break in Asteria. They think, that`s it what they need to succeed as they have been unable to achieve their objectives together with Chile. However this approach to Serbia has as consequence nothing more than that they will turn away from us.

Serbia has been our enemy for too long, so long that I even forgot the memories of the times when we were allies and helped each other in the lower divisions to beat Eden. From across the street I saw the dirty, selfish acting which lead to nothing else but reaffirming my beliefs. I will never be an ally or a friend of Serbia. If we end up in the same alliance by a twist of fate, I never will fight for them.

If Macedonia and Bulgaria will go with Serbia, I know beforehand that I won´t follow them. I don´t know what will be the path of my country, today I only speak for myself.

I only want to play and fight for my friends which I have chosen not only by a twist of fate in the game or affinity, but because I saw in their communities real intentions of playing this game in a healthy and fun way.

If you, my brothers in Bulgaria and MKD, insist in calling my homeland traitors, I will keep fighting until you with your actions and doubts about our loyalty will finish up killing this nice brotherhood we have.

We have known bitter defeats and astonishing victories together, we are friends and brothers. Do you think not being in the same alliance will cut this friendship? Doesn´t count all the time we were together, that this difference could make you hating us?

My family was always Paraguay, Macedonia and Bulgaria. But my family has grown over the time. I have new brothers for which I fight also and try to give all what I can. Can´t you accept that Chile is sovereign and has friends which are not are related to you? Why do you try to impose your view of the game on us? Real brothers NEVER do that.

My family will diminish only because of your actions, but you will have my love and loyalty and those of many Chileans.

We are brothers - not by imposition or decision - we are brothers beyond a partnership, beyond the MPPs.

That's why today I say from my balcony:
