The Sunday Tabloid 7—Because No News is Good News!

Day 2,713, 17:04 Published in Australia Australia by JackTrout

Welcome to the seventh edition of the Sunday Tabloid! Enjoy!

No one is complaing about the Octopuns… So they’ll stay for now!

Puzzles: I like them. Unlike so many things, they make sense.

The first puzzle is another Sudoku. It should be a little harder than last week’s. If it is too easy, let me know, I am always happy to make them harder!

Fill in the grid with the numbers 1 through 9 so that each number appears only once in each row, column and region (3 by 3 block).

Our second puzzle is another Bridges. There are also even bigger ones available, but they take a bit of a time commitment. But let me know if you want to try one, and we’ll have a go!

Oh yeah, we love these…

Enjoy these. That’s all I’m saying!

One for the gents…

And one for the ladies…

And we will not leave out one for the scientists…

The Calleta Silkmoth caterpillar, from Central America

One of my all-time favourite jokes:

Two young prawns, Oliver and Christian, were besties. They loved swimming around and checking everything out, but when a shark came around and they had to hide in the seagrass, they hated that.

One day a huge old cod was hanging around, when Oliver said, “I’m sick of having to hide! I wish I were a shark!” The cod turned its enormous eye on Oliver, and shzzzoom, Oliver turned into a shark! Christian swam away in a panic.

Oliver had fun being a shark and scaring all the prawns for a few days, but then he started getting lonesome for his mates. He swam and swam until he found the huge old Cod. He said, “Please! I want to be a prawn, please!”

Shzzoom, he turned back into a prawn. He happily swam off to Christian’s house, and called for him to come out and play. “No way, man, you’re a shark and you’re trying to trick me!”

“No!” cried Oliver. “I’m a prawn again Christian. I found Cod.”
