Dear citizens,
We know that we are a little late than usual, but better late than never, so here is the Q&A insider with some of your last week questions and problems:
Q1. Why are we forced to lose health everyday for nothing?
A1. This features comes as an answer to the following question: “How will citizens die if you change the current automatic method of consuming food?” Although many of you will disagree with this, you must acknowledge the fact that this is a game and you need such a game play feature in order to give people various motivations to play.
Q2. What measures do you take against PTO?
A2. We put this question here because we want to bring to your attention to one case in particular, that we dealt with today. We’ve spotted a case of PTO in US Congress elections. To be more specific, the Republican Party entered in the top 5 parties using unlawful methods so we so we had to take action and interfere, thus: the illegal citizen accounts used were permanently suspended, the candidates were removed from the race and so there are only 4 parties participating to this election. All that we can say now is “may the best win!”
Q3. Why do I lose happiness if I own a house?
A3. At the moment all citizens lose happiness in order to create competitiveness in the house market. This being said we are taking under consideration to make some changes in this feature, if necessary, in the near future.
Q4. I cannot run for congress for Bolivia, what is happening?
A4. We are aware of this situation, but unfortunately we cannot help you, since these are the current rules. The error that some of you encounter is due to the fact that one day before the elections, Bolivia didn't have any regions. This is how the system is intended to work, creating a strategy approach regarding the best time frame to recover your independence.
When we will work on improving the political module, this will be one of the first issues that we'll take into account.
Q5. What happens with Q1 food company now with the new food consumption feature?
A5. We’ve received these kind of complains from many citizens. This “problem”, as some of you you call it will be solved in time. Why do we say this? Because the economy will balance itself so that neither companies will lose. For example: if you want to fight and you need food fast, it's better to have a high quality food in your inventory because that will offer you the possibility to save some precious time, of course at a higher price. In other cases, you will probably need cheaper food so this will direct your attention to the low quality food companies. The economy has only one rule: the rule of supply and demand. The price of food will be one of the important factors which will bring “the order in the volatile markets”.
Q6. Why do the turn time in a battle is so long?
A6. As we’ve already announced in a past Insider, we’ve reduced the turn time to 2 minutes. Unfortunately this wasn’t enough for many players so we’ve decided to listen to all of you. Please note that in the next few hours, we will change the turn time to 90 seconds.

Are you going to make another skills migration as you announced before?
"Please note that in the next few hours, we will change the turn time to 90 seconds." This is good for ordinary soldiers but also this means "death" for commanders and strategists. Not sure if this is good idea...

Guys, 90 seconds - but it takes usually 30 seconds to receive results, then I should eat food, move 3 times and attack? Oh not to mention i have to GIVE or RECEIVE orders from my squad. 90 seconds is just stupid, sorry but ONLY REASON YOU DO IT IS TO FORCE US TO BUY GOLD MORE OFTEN (WPs are costy but bring health instantly)...

You've been doing very good this month. There are many improvements to player interaction and things people were fretting over in v2. Keep it up.
what is your approach regarding the fact that a player can now do the same damage after training 6 months, just the same as an erepublik veteran who played for 31 months does?
People are really gonna need to use Team Speak more than ever due to lack of time to give out coord's on where to move/deploy

I am far more interested in the "whens" instead of the collected explanations at this point. When exactly are the improvements I've waited for 2 years coming out? Or is this the state the game is going to be in for the next year again before you push out V3? And when is the article and comment system fixed?

It's almost impossible to organize something in 90 secs (considering that there are 30 seconds lost due to "calculating")
Answer a4: FALSE!!! the day before elections bolivia had 2 regions!!!! The day 23th bolivia had 2 regions, the day 25th is election, so the day 24th was the day before elections!!!

I agree with the decision that the admin took. 90 sec will allow for more interactive battles. If you want to coordinate you attack with your teammates use skype or another program.

OMG, 90sec??? Are you crazy??? In serious fights 2 minutes is too little as often about one minute it takes to check the last battle. And where time for looking for best opponents?? Return it to 2.5mins or leave 2mins at least!!!!!!

Still, there's a lot of work that still needs to be done
@admins : people buy q2 food with 6 wellness and 0 happiness or q3 food with with 9 wellness and 0 happiness to regain wellness. I can say for sure that people aren't buying q5 food anymore because it gives you both wellness and happiness. Most of the citizens don't need both.
I can say that this means that q2-q3 food companies (that cost 40 or 90 gold) will have a bigger profit and demand then q5 companies (that cost 390 gold)... tell me what's wrong with this picture?
Please divide the productiveness and demand of raw materials by 10. Or add more desimals to their selling prices. Now you can choose to sell raw for 0.04 FIM/piece with small profit or 0.03 FIM/piece for zero profit. And FIM is not even from the expensive end of currencies. This makes competition impossible.
None of the questions and answers make sense
When there is a problem about US, you run to help as you are in fire but for a long time, all of the parties of eTurkey are PTO ed by fake account owners but you have made nothing. Here is an advice for you. Change the name of the game as eUSA, and make the wars between the cities of it. Maybe can add eIndians to game, Texas declares wars and you can focus better to your real costumers. Simply, this game sucks because of you. The more you add something to game, the more you turn it to trash.
I'm not sure about the turn time decrease. It's good for me, but I'm not in a squad, giving/receiving orders in real time. For the ones doing that, it's going to be a lot harder to get everything done. Not to mention that every few turns it says it's loading fight results and never finishes, so you have to reload, wasting a ton of time. Overall, I think admin can not make the right decision. It's a perfect example of the story of the little boy, the old man, and the mule. Sometimes you just can't please everyone.

Q1. - make system that we loose health on daychange if we didn't eat any food that day. for everyone suffering from slow loading of battle results - just click on address bar and press enter (faster than reloading the whole page) and you will see the battlefield, and for battle results go to informations - last battle results.

90 seconds?! i think its fine the way it is...or maybe even longer, if you are trying to command even a small group of people there is not enough time to strategize, plan, and send orders to the other members before time runs out and they get nowhere...not to mention whenever the "connection times out"...90 seconds is just killer
1. Change normal turn times back to 2 mins
2. Increase the turn time in the first hour to 3-4 minutes to cancel out the surprise attacks which make no sense at the moment
3. Make turns at the end of the fight also longer, as the servers are crashing regularly
