Hello readers, as I've been around a little while I figured it is time to decide my direction as a player and as a press director, I am choosing the political path in erepublik, I look to bring another active person to the eCanadian political atmosphere, I've followed the forums and articles and I'd like to give it a shot.

Good choice - it's the most affordable way to have fun in this game.
Yup, it's always nice to have some fresh blood. Just read our convoluted rules first before you get ahead of yourself and propose something without prior consent.
I encourage you all the way. Also don't forget to strength train daily of course as well

As Chochi said. It might be beneficial to get a political mentor as well; the elected Speaker should be knowledgeable on the rules governing congress and available to help.
Also, being invested in politics, military and economy are not mutually exclusive, so don't be reluctant to try out other segments of eRepublik. For certain, politics require the least e-monetary investment, while the other two hold greater risk (and some rewards if you have the proper know-how and execution).
Just cut to the chase and run for CP in Sept.

Yes, I was being humorous in saying that Molly had no thought that she would win CP. Did you read her article? When it was obvious that there would be victory she rapidly put together a cabinet and commenced being presidential. FA greetings to our friends and allies went out that day and the new MU commanders PM was started. Communication with Congress was done and people in the cabinet started proposing ideas for the term. Amidst it all Molly has done a fine job of leading us.
