The new Bazooka, "Chuck Norris" edition.

No…. it’s not here yet. However it is only a matter of time before the game developers decide to change or enhance the bazooka.

The reason is none less than the usual suspect …… GOLD.

The bazooka started as a “one shot, one kill” weapon, rewarding the user with 5000 damage points per fight. At some point, it was determined that 5000 points are not quite enough to lure big players to use the bazooka, as they could deliver similar damage with the then top-ranked Q5 tank. So the bazooka damage was bumped to 10000 points.

Guess what! 10000 damage points is not as significant damage as it used to be. Many players, not just God of Wars, make similar damage with a Q6. A strong player (12k-13k strength) with a high rank (Legendary Force) can deliver 10000 damage per fight with a Q6. For any player stronger than that, bazookas are becoming collectible items.

Sure enough bazookas are not worthless. They can be obtained for free and they give younger players a fair shot for a Battle Hero medal. Bazooka parts are sold for gold! This fact alone should keep the bazooka in the game.

It is rather hard to predict what is coming next in Erepublic in terms of upgrades and changes in regulations, but the bazooka issue is more or less predictable. By no means am I claiming expertise, nor do I have “insider’s info”. I am observing the game dynamics and learning from the behavior of the game developers as they implement changes and introduce upgrade offers.

The bazooka damage is going to be bumped up, one way or another. One possible scenario is that its damage gets increased to 20000 points. This will sure give incentive to the big spenders to buy bazooka parts, but it will also give too much strength to young players.

Maybe the new bazooka will be indeed twice as powerful, but won’t come for free. I suspect the introduction of some type of “upgraded bazooka assembly lab” a nice building worth 50 gold, where the player can assemble the super bazooka using the standard parts he has been collecting.

Another possibility is the Q2 bazooka! Its parts will be twice as hard to get by fighting, but they will be available to buy for 1 gold a piece!

No matter what the game developers decide to do with the bazooka, one thing is sure: It will be bigger, meaner, and more expensive!

She lost her weapon, but Chuck Norris showed up and gave her his Bazooka….
