The fallacy of the AFA's "Rise"
Talostastic
Anyone who reads an article in the eUSA knows about the AFA and their slow but sure rise in members and "prominence" within this nation. Their anti-elites rhetoric seems to resonate with a large number of people.
The question must be asked though, are they truly rising and swaying long-time citizens of the eUSA's opinions? Are they the party of the future?
The answer is a resounding no.
After the election, a certain mouthpiece of the AFA hailed the "rise" of the AFA in power. (Lets not even begin to discuss the symbolism chosen, using Batman, a clear Elite in his mythos, to represent themselves as the underdog fighting against the elites.) Their boost of +117 votes was something to boast about, a sure sign that they were truly winning the hearts and minds of the citizens of this country.
However, an examination of the numbers shows that, not only did they fail to truly sway any significant number of citizens who were in this country as of 5 Nov 2012, they weren't even able to fully utilize their imported citizens' votes to further their agenda in this election.
Starting the day after the 5 Nov 2012 election and the last election, approximately 250 new citizens joined the eUSA. Of those, 40 were approved by the internal body of the government which, for a long time, was the standard of obtaining eUSA citizenship.
Some simple math tells us that the remaining 210 citizenship approvals went without IES approval. While I am certain not all of those citizenship approvals were done by or for the AFA, I am just as certain that a large number of them were.
This explains and dismisses the "rise" of the AFA and their +117 votes in this election.
Are the AFA a PTO party? Lets look at the eRepublik definition of a PTO.
Political Takeover (coup) - When a highly organized group from a densely populated Country moves into a separate country and gains political power of said country by out numbering other citizens in an election. (Normally the General Election).
That's all for now, I'll leave you to formulate your own opinions.

RGR posting "Fail" on your article is like winning an ePulitzer Prize.
try jioning there party channel, seems like they ban a lot of players, being against the elites would mean you didn't act like the elites you are against...they are merely trying to replace the elites in power with there own brand of stink
Insert trolling here.... 😉
(I suck at trolling, soz)
I'm not sure if RGR was insulting me or summing up his own failures in eRepublik.

u have asumptions..we have faxts and numbers !!!
give us stats !!! we gave that all !!!
Read the links, I gave you the stats and sources. All of your stats are numbers you've "claimed", never cited.
I'm only through the 27th of Nov (working backwards from the 5th), and already I have 53 applications accepted by members of the AFA, so your claim of only 76 passes granted by the AFA is patently false.
It's only the fault of whoever is telling people to push the button that of those 53 I've verified so far, 17 of them aren't in the AFA and one is banned.
