Starting from Abraham Lincoln's words..

Heya readers from around the world!

I once wanted to write an article about this, and eRepublik stopped me.., but now, that I see Abraham Lincoln's words I'll get back to my ideas.

He said : “And in the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.”

Starting from those words, but adjusting them to eRepublik life, I would say "And in the end, it's not the number of medals that count. It's the sympathy you get from everyone around you."

Maybe you are wondering what makes me say that. And I will explain it..
Let's take myself for example, cause I won't bring anyone else into discussion, without knowing exactly what he feels about this.
My last attempt for reaching the highest influence in one round of a battle was a failure. Because in the last minute, someone came from the back and added an influence larger than mine with 3 k. I was very upset, of course..but that is not the main idea.(and not the first time that happened..)

The fact that really upsets me , is that he already had like 2-3 hundreds of BH medals, and few hundreds of other medals, but didn't care for a sec. He didn't even think I worked ~3 months to earn those bazookas (because my chance to earn a BH atm is the bazookas ) killing enemies at the order of my military unit. Didn't even care..

So I ask you..isn't the BH medal a honor any more? Is it just a toy for frustrated people?

In the end..is the number of your medals that count, or does it matter that you helped everyone around , and got a good karma around your name?
