Say “Hola” to the Spanish version!
Dear citizens,
The process of translating eRepublik into Spanish is nearly complete. The release of the Spanish version will take place on June 3rd, and it will only be the first step in providing eRepublik in multiple languages.
As any first step, this was the hardest one to make. Lots of technical modifications were done in order to create a “backbone” that will support all the future translations of eRepublik. We are very enthusiastic about reaching the end of this process, and we will be waiting for your feedback on the Spanish version of the interface. We will create a new subject in the contact form, named “Contacto Español” (Spanish contact), especially for this event. If you find mistakes of any kind, bugs, misspellings, or even bad choices of words, we would be glad to receive your corrections. However, please be advised that our community department is not offering support in Spanish yet. This contact form subject is the only one where, for a limited time, you may address to our team in Spanish. For all the other contact subjects, please use English.
Our translation team was helped by several Spanish citizens, so we would like to send special thanks to Allyena, Zhuge Liang, and Sabi2 for their support in translating eRepublik. This was no easy task, as there are thousands unique text lines in eRepublik. Only reading them could take hours!
The next set of languages that will become available in eRepublik has not yet been established, but could contain French, Portuguese, German, and Russian. What is certain is that the Spanish version will bring more of the 330 million people who are native Spanish speakers into the New World. This will especially aid in boosting the population of South America, as on June 10th, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, Paraguay, and Uruguay will join eRepublik.

2. thanks to the hungarian community, erepublik has been available in hungarian for 3 months through a greasymonkey script.
3. development of a complex application needs good planning what you have obviously forgotten. as my grandmother says: "who doesnt have enough in his head, should have enough in his leg"

probably you could think of implementing eRep in ROmanian too.
by the way, some tips for you:
make a translations page for erepublik, where everybody can add his/her translations for the english text patterns (or vote for or against an already ready translation of each english pattern). store the data, and after 2 weeks implement the translation patterns with the highest number of votes. For example:
English pattern: "Country administration"
Your translation: [textbox] (hungarian: "Állami irányítás")
Or vote for an already made translation: [ajax div votebox onclick]
that's all, 2 hours to implement. if you need i can send you a whole php solution for this in 6 hours (i need to go to eat something now...)
