Preface
This will be considered my testimony for any future proceedings. I have no interest in participating in any role play "Kangaroo Court". You can decipher what you will from IRC logs, but what you have to know about me is I am to the point. This is a strategy game and I am a game player, not a role player. I enjoy the social aspect of playing this game, but not the BS on IRC about Butt Secks and the stupid trolling that goes on in #eCan. The reason I and others like me are drawn to a JBdivinus type (or a TFD for that matter) is they have vision. Some call it scheming, but at the minimum it is entertaining and the strategy involved is what makes it fun for some of us. It is players like these that make the game interesting, instead of the mundane that it has proven to be.
The Mis-information
This Grande-Sceme has been labeled "Project Mayhem" To be clear, the only Project Mayhem is the citizens army that was to be composed of regular citizens and harboured the idea of giving free weapons to citizens who show up to fight. This was no secret, it was in my Military Platform and also released in an article over 2 weeks ago titled, wait for it...."Project Mayhem"....

There was no Foreign Takeover or "PTO" The Canadian Party was to be "LIKE" SEES in the respect that it was to attract the best and the brightest and focus on activity and quality rather than a voter base of sheer numbers. The name of the party was to be The Magnet Party for anyone who is interested
The Beginning
JBdivinus sent out a PM to the other party presidents after he won the presidency of the DAL

We plan ahead, and, simply, win the game on the domestic front.
This is not to say be selfish and ruin the country. We would have an opportunity to spend our time recruiting players, getting the newbs educated and interested, and overall making this place better. It needs something.
To me, that sounded interesting enough, so we began to discuss. The main focus was that Canada has 6 main individual parties that all stand for the same thing. People are in different parties because it's where their friends are, but there is little difference in gameplay or ideology. The goal was to still have the individual parties but to identify the common ideology and work together to actually get things done. JB was going to rename the DAL and start a new forum, and the beat goes on. Now you have portions of irc logs but what you don't have are the private pm's going on the side that went something like this
Rolo: What do you think Addy?
Addy: Sounds kind of far fetched
Rolo: Yeah, I just don't want him to PTO my party
Addy: I know, that can suck
Rolo: Why don't we just go along with it and if he actually gets it off the ground, then we'll make a decision then

JB had lofty goals and a lot of them were good. We were going to stop the half measures and constant arguing about nothing and focus on the things that move eCanada ahead in the game and on the world stage. We were going to recruit the best and most dedicated players and introduce them to the key aspects of the game. We were going to cut the BS. Now obviously this didn't even get off the ground, as JB has been in the wind for over a week, so the PTO point, if you still see it that way in Moot.
Congress Elections
You want to know how to get good at winning congress seats for your parties? - Talk to the other PP's, negotiate, find out any info that you can on who they support. The SVT co-ordinator controls the election, so they are all somewhat rigged. Until game mechanics change, get used to it. Are there people we wanted to get in?, yes, are there people who inhibit change and are close minded to new ideas?, yes, and did I want them out? - Yes I did, and I do not apologize for it. If they are pissed at that, then they should talk to their Party Presidents. I didn't run candidates in the CEP unless I support them, and most of the time they got elected
My Candidacy
The point was to ensure eCanada had a quality candidate win the election. A consensus from the party leaders who was best to lead the country and move forward with the goals of making eCanada a world power. This is not to say we would "rig" an election of that the candidate has to be one of "us", but as Party Presidents of leaders in our party we would endorse a candidate that we liked and encourage the membership to support us. Now, to be clear, this happens now and has always happened, Party leaders make the case for candidates they support. Why do you think Scorpius is such a pain in the ass in the DAL. He bullies his way for the party to support the candidate he chooses, even Lan when he himself admitted Lan was weak . Up until I announced my candidacy, I was under the assumption that Acacia was going to run a second term, and it was at his suggestion that I run for CP, after many private irc convo's where I expressed ideas he should implement. As far as the election page issues, everybody screwed up not knowing it had to be in by the 2nd. As far as I knew I won the support of 5 major parties, 3 of which did not nominate me in game. I am not sure how this "helped" me. In fact, if there was a conspiracy, they would have made sure to endorse me in game, not the other way around. I only controlled 1 button and that was of the CEP, and I had the party mandate to push it
My Presidency
For an alleged PTO attempt, it kind of seemed like a rather lame one. In 10 days in addition to answering some 30 PM's per day, I instituted some MoI changes, I noticed a discrepancy in the payouts of the Victory Bonds that needed adjusting and raised the question of whether we are getting value for our MPP's. Definitely worth a panicked impeachment, in my opinion, given another week, I might have been able to....sign another MPP maybe?
There have been many comments about the lack of this, or what about that, but for all the critisism I would invite my detractors to go and look at my platform. I've never been active in the media, I never said I was going to do any social programs, or domestic, or any of that other nonsense I had seen in oh so many platforms and never saw squat from after election day. I kept it real. I said citizens army, we did that in the one battle that we fought, I said MoI changes, they were underway, I said MOAR WAR, I was looking under every rock for some place Canada could get involved. I even PM'd France and the UK hours before my impeachment telling them I would retreat every region if they attacked quickly. I wouldn't have, but it would have activated our MPP's. Right up until the end I was getting as creative as I could to find this country some War. On that note, nowhere in my platform did I say I would attack every day. I was looking for a sustained war to drive the WAR based economy and in twenty more days I may have been able to do it. Did you think we were going to attack the UK and France endlessly? When I finally did bow to public pressure and attacked, for the 1 battle we got 184 people on the battlefield and never stood a chance, this was with plenty of advanced notice and free weapons. I mean really, What did you people want? - For the record I was there and was the Battle Hero
And another thing..You want to complain about lack of new player education, Feel free to take a few under your wing. If you want to whine about something be sure you are doing your part. You don't have to be a Minister to provide new players with education
The Impeachment
2 days before, there was a note in the CEP forums about Wes going on a rant about something, but this is so common, that I never paid any attention to it. Day before I had a convo with Bruck where he gave me the heads up "something" was coming, and an 11 o'clock meeting about a PTO?. I didn't know what to make of it so I lurked on the #ecan IRC for a minute to see Wes Lewis basking in all sorts of attention, where he would say snipits, then retract, then say he couldn't say, etc. I then went to the eCan forums to see that PM's were send to all congress members (and me as well). Either way, I had to go play hockey that night, then work the next day and by the time I got home, not only had I not had the chance to respond or answer ANY questions from anyone, I was up for impeachment (illegal by the way) and lies and inaccuracy were all over the media. Perhaps if I was given the 24 hours to state my case, things would have been different
Wes-Protip
If you pm every member in government about a Presidential impeachment, make sure the sitting president is not on the send list, and before you do any of this, make sure government assets are secure - just sayin'

The CAF
Lets keep it real here. This is an opinion I have had for a long time but as a politician could never say
Where does the CAF get this attitude that they are somehow more honourable than the average citizen?
I'll use myself as an example (never in CAF)
I, the average citizen worked each day and collected my earnings. I saved my money, and at war time I spend my own money on weapons and moving tickets. I did this and managed myself to the rank of Field Marshall
A CAF member works same as me and saves his money, but at wartime he checks his inbox for orders and also sees that he has been provided with free weapons and moving tickets to go and fight with and rank himself up
Now I ask? - Who sacrificed more for their country? I say the citizen did, he has less money to spend and ranked up slower than his CAF counterpart. He defended and fought for his country out of his own pocket
Now here is the kicker, The CAF gets all this funding from the budget, but now, it actually takes commitment and time to fight, not just 5 clicks on a wall. It was noted MANY times in the last minutes of a battles in the UK than the CAF members were few and far between, and the leadership - gimme a break
"I'm a commander, I'm a lieutenant, I'm a general" - Your all nothing unless you are on the battlefield leading by example. Just a bunch of made up nonsense to make yourself feel important. It is a joke when an average citizen is leading the final moments of a battle when so many resources are provided to these "Leaders" of our military
Project Mayhem was the biggest ever threat to the CAF and their funding. They were going to have to actually show up and fight. Under Project Mayhem there was no CAF because EVERYBODY was CAF. If you had the time and the will to fight, you got the same equal funding to your CAF counterpart. Activity was to be rewarded, not title or rank - makes you wonder why some high ups in the CAF vilified this so much?
1ronman Scandal
Why did JBdivinus accept the citizenship of 1ronman? - JB apparently did not have the ability to change the CP candidate off himself for some reason. He apparently gave access to Scorpius or someone form the DAL to verify this, so to prevent them from resigning his Party Presidency, he accepted and put 1ronman in the DAL so it would fall to him if they did so. It was a safety measure, and I doubt the DAL wanted 1ronman as their PP (which would be JB anyways apparently) Either way, whay can 1ronman do to Canada now that he is here. Nothing...so who cares?

Funny how that "just 5 minutes ago" he regained access to the org with 2600 Gold in it. Yep the admins just happened to come through just then. Interestingly enough, I have never heard of them doing this before, and what 5 months later. Not sure I'm buying that, but if you do, then I lost the password as well, don't hold it against me. Maybe I'll "find the password" one day when the political climate is right.....
Ministry of Industries and Citizen B
Yeah, Citizen B is as crooked as they come and trust me when I say this. I did you all a favor liquidating that org. It was a sinkhole and had been abused since the day it was created. Citizen B used that position and those companies as a power base for the DAL. There were hundreds of citizens he could "friend", give raises to and recruit to the DAL. They could always be counted on for cheap votes at election time and the lack of transparency was all he needed to do that job unquestioned. Never mind that once access was passed on I found companies full of Gold and Cash, while Citizen B always cried poor at budget time. This money should have been refunded monthly or the budget adjusted weekly to account for surpluses. Do yourself a favor, don't make another one of these and start looking at Citizen B in a different light
The CEP
There were some feathers ruffled in the CEP from the logs where I stated "I CONTROL THE CEP". That inference was to the SVT vote, which I did control 100%, and with amazing success. Now given more thought, as much as many may disagree with this, I DID CONTROL THE CEP. Now I wasn't the only one to put in hard work, but at the end of the day, all the major initiatves were controlled my me. The recruitment started when I joined the party, and was maintained all the way to #2 Status, The successful congress elections, The starting and managing of the party companies, I even wrote the PM's that were sent out by others to party members. The only thing I didn't do was the media, because as you all know - it's just not my thing. When the party got so big, I actually had to reinstate Wes Lewis to help with some of the heavy lifting.

There's a lot of SH** said on irc and guess what guys, I don't like some of you out there and I tell it like it is. If you can't handle that then I suggest you get a thicker skin or move on

A kid with way too much time on his hands and who looks for attention any way he can get it, desperately seeking approval, especially from those who have at one time been very critical of him. Wes is like a top, you can just wind him up and let him go. Don't let him milk this story for more than what it is
Final Summary
Well that's it, not much really there when you get down to Brass Tacks is there?. Worth all the theatrics? Just a bunch of guys who like to get together and Play the "GAME". For all you role players out there, I'll never understand why you get so upset, because the Kelly Mahoney's can still post her recipe's, The saltydog's can still troll away, Penguin can still post comics. If you aren't involved in the politics, then none of this concerns you, and for the ones that are, just learn to play better. This is actually closer to RL politics than anything that has gone on here in a while

i will concede that he is right in that PPs have often collaborated with deciding CP candidates and then used their sway to convince their parties. however thats not what happened here, so the fact that its true doesnt really mean much.

You do realize that these players are among some of the most avid roleplayers in the game right? Whether or not they like to admit it, their gameplay record speaks for itself.
The drama, the cloak and dagger, the glad handing and back room wheelings and dealings, the drama, the secret pms and convos, the carefully planned manipulation of players and positions, did I mention the drama? the intrigue, espionage anyone? oh yes, and the drama.
Not only were the main characters in this drama roleplaying, they were up to their necks and then some in "this role play crap", unlike the regular eRep player.
I'm surprised some of them haven't tried to use roleplaying as a defense for their actions, but then again, as the entrenched roleplayers of the game, they view themselves as some of the best in eCanada, therefore there is no need to defend themselves.

Personally i think that what they were doing was quite a lot worse then changing peoples saleries to 10 cents more. I mean, 10 cents or less? And i seriously doubt he does this for "DAL" support, cause the majority of people in the DAL, and i really do mean majority, are 2 clicking noobs that will never understand this game.
As for the whole "DAL is the villain in all this" were the damn victim in all this. This whole coup was because we got PTO'd by a man (Jbdivinus)who had no interest in our party, as well as no reason to join our party. If your calling the whole DAL the villin in all this then your being a hypocritical lieing ass. you have to realize that We the majority of the DAL had nothing to do with this, stop blaming us for a long time CPF member becoming out PP.

I'm a bit annoyed with the implication that roleplaying is all about 'buttsecks'... and I think the main difficulty with the V1 CAF was having to travel and find work all over the world with regularity.
So basically, we'll never have our money back.
That's all I wanted to know.
And what about the assets you destroyed. What happened to the hospital company with 24 hospitals that could have been deployed? Dismantled apparently to increase your own gold supply. and the defense system company. And just about every other company that the government owned? We managed to find two or three of them but the rest appear to be gone. Admit that you did this for you own selfish FU pleasure. It won't make you anymore popular but they say that confession is good for the soul.

You negate your entire argument as far as I am concerned when you say that your keeping everything that has been stolen until you feel like it. No matter what your problems with some of the people of this country, by keeping the property of this country you show and prove everything that has been said about you. If you gave back everything you have taken perhaps you could then genuinly win back some measure of popularity.
Note: Caring about popularity and your reputation is a facet of roleplay since popularity has no impact on the game mechanics.
