Return of the Dragoons
Kordak
What makes a Dragoon?
After years the Dragoons are returning! Like before it is our goal to become the most active MU. We do not care for numbers, we only focus on activity and mentorship.
The Dragoons promote a stabile version of gameplay: Work, Train, Fight!
Fighting every day for your country and allies is important. Also it makes the game less boring for a lot of people. The Dragoons will offer mentorship to new players to get them as strong soldiers into the higher divisions. Another goal is to keep them active, which only benefits our country more. We are one community and should help each other out in this eWorld!
Our rules are simple: Fight every day at least 25 times and have our avatar frame.
Currently we are taking citizens from all Orion countries into the MU, so we will also promote international friendship. We are not only for new players, but we also have an elite regiment for the big guys. So if you are div 3 or 4 feel free to PM Kordak and we can speak about how we can benefit each other.
New members will receive daily rewards when completing kills:
Div 1: 4Q7 a day
Div 2: 6Q7 a day
Div 3: 8Q7 a day
Div 4: 10Q7 a day
I hope to see you soon in the Dragoons! o7

I personally think we should not diversify our people into different Military Units, as we are way too small (and therefore unorganized) for that. The whole reasoning for the Dutch Armed Forces (DAF) is to provide (the only due to numbers) active and organized MU for Dutch people because we don't have the manpower, nor people with the willpower to create an healthy competitive selection of Military Units.
Considering a MU can act as a very important vehicle to integrate people into the community and provide information we shouldn't take this too lightly. Sure, in the past we had f.e. Praetorian Guard as a worthy equivalent but those days are sadly in the past. In fact, I'd argue we should try to integrate PG and Flying Dutchman and others into Dutch Armed Forces, now that political relations and MU's are less.. intertwined and there is in general less political bickering. Someone stepping up and even providing weapons like you would be greatly appreciated for the greater benefit of the Netherlands, whilst not forcing people to leave DAF which has its own benefits as well (bonuses, very good communication with gov / commanders etc).
Important change in this is also that in the past different Military Units actually mattered in regards to some events of eRepublik. Currently such competition is completely forgotten or utilized by the developers (probably because there are simply not the numbers for it, who knows).
All being in one MU did not really do activity good the past years, did it? Besides of that Dutch Armed Forces does not offer any extra weapon supplies to it's fighters, where we do.
That sadly was not the main cause for declining activity.
