Recent Events & 'Thank You!' To Our Allies & Friends!

Day 2,475, 09:49 Published in Australia Australia by Aus Prime Minister Office

Dear eAustralians!

I think I owe you all an apology for my lack of articles during my term. It's only because I work full-time and all my online time has been focused on running the country the best I could. Organizing, planning, coordinating all the wars really took it out of me during the past couple of weeks... Unfortunately that has given me very little time for writing articles, but I have still managed to keep up with all my responsibilities in regards to keeping this country running as best I could.

So much happened during this term, that it is a little overwhelming to even begin to try to sum it all up. So this article it's going to be a mixture of addressing the nation about recent events and thanking our allies.

Well I want to begin by discussing with you the air-strike. It may sound like a walk in the park, but there is so much planning and organizing in involved that it is not as easy as it seems. If it is an air-strike conducted on one or two regions is it much more simple to carry out as the auto-attack is easily closed. When you are conducting air-strikes on countries which have all of their regions, it is far more difficult, as each region needs to be taken one by one, and each war must be won, and two things have to happen: Either you must wipe the country to stop the auto-attack; or you must keep the wars going for 7-8 days until the 'declare peace' option becomes available. That's what has made this operation so difficult. So all my time went to organizing help in order to win all of the wars. There had also been a lot of RWs started. Some people were trying to blame me for that, as if it was my fault. Not understanding that there are MUs who have made it a business to start RWs in order to earn gold via resistance war Hero medals and FF medals. Their whole purpose is to look for easy or vulnerable areas to start RWs in, then these MUs have an org in which all the gold made from the RWs and FF medals go into (an org for their MU) and that is all they do in the game.. So we had that to deal with. On top of that, we had to RW regions in order to hand back those regions to Norway and Finland right away.. On top of that, enemies in this game will always RW conquered enemy territories just to make it hard for them, that is part of the game, anyone who can't understand that have no understanding of the concept of warfare. That's how we lost our region in Jizan, enemies started the RW and attacked it, and we lost it as a result. It's a sad part of the game, but that is the sad reality, all we can do is to fight vigorously to defend our regions as best we can in such an event.

It's easy for someone to come into office and be a CP who doesn't take any risks, then take credit for things our allies do for us and save themselves from blame by not taking risks and engage in anything. So usually people who would never have the courage to take any risks are the ones who try to put blame on a CP who has the balls to try something different. Also there are always going to be people who only look at the negative and are blind to the positive, believe me there are no shortage of pessimists in this world, and when things are looking bleak, they are not the kind of people you want around when you are facing difficult circumstances.

Anyway, I just want to say that whatever the outcome of our Scandinavian operations, positive things have come out of it. We have had more action and excitement during the past couple of weeks than in a very long time. All of our major MUs have been fighting hard and working together like I have never seen before.. In fact some of the last wars we fought and won were due to mostly damage from our own players. That tells me that we are learning to coordinate and focus damage together as a whole, and these operations have proven that we are capable of making a big difference on the battlefield, working together, and having the capability of winning wars. Look what we are capable of, look how far we have come.. We also managed to secure ourselves a congress, and we did it without having to make any deals with Aurora - so we did it on our own - to me that means a lot. Another thing that has come of these operations are the friends and contacts we have made. I cannot believe the support we have had during these operations, the attention we have received, and the opportunity to work on a more intimate level with our allies and friends. We have made some really powerful friends lately, and the support we have received has been tremendous. In case I don't have a chance to say it in my farewell article before the end of my term this month, I just want to thank some of our allies and friends in advance:

eROC: You have to be some of the most kindest people I have ever seen in this game. If it wasn't for you I don't know if we would have won the air-strike battle and the first few Finland/Australia wars where we were getting really heavy resistance. You guys set us as priority during the first couple of days during the air-strike. The kindness and support of the eTaiwanese people to eAustralia lately never ceases to amaze me. You have become one of our best friends.

eSlovenia and the Slovenian division. I can't thank you guys enough! When things started getting really tough for us the Slovenian division kept sending us help and making sure that we were okay. They kept checking up on us to make sure that we weren't losing the wars in Scandinavia and every time that they would see that we were struggling, they would send help to make sure that we wouldn't lose. Without the Slovenian MPP, and the support from the Slovenian division I don't think we would have lasted as long as we did. Slovenia's CP AndreyChika and the MoD Mlena are probably two of the most sweetest people that I have come across. I have the highest respect for Slovenia and the Slovenian division, I am really happy that through these operations it has brought us closer to Slovenia who have a very warm community.

I want to also thank all of Australia's Greek friends. You guys always help us when we are in trouble, it doesn't go unnoticed. We are really grateful to you all. Thanks to GAMA too and the Greek terrorists who always help Australia. Thanks to all of our Greek friends in general, you are really good to us and you always fight hard for us, for that we are always grateful to the Greek community.

I would also like to mention Peru. Towards the end of the TWO alliance we started to MPP with Peru because they were being oppressed by Chile much the same way as Australia. Because of that oppression, I think that have developed a special bond between us. Peru understands what it's like to be wiped by Chile for such a long time, and they know that Australia understands what it feels like too. We really respect Peru for their stance against Chile and they are warriors who refuse to submit to the enemy. I can see Australia's relationship only becoming stronger with Peru as time goes on. They are always willing to help Australia and we are always willing to help them too. Thank you Peru for your friendship and always trying to help Australia.

I want to thank Israel and Moldova too for helping us with the Scandinavian operations, they really gave a lot to help us when we were in need, and it didn't go unnoticed. Thank you guys!

Want to give a special thanks to eCanada also. I believe that our operations in Scandinavia have brought us closer to our Canadian friends. They have always been there for Australia, whenever we need help Canada are always one of the first to step up and reach out their hand to us. I couldn't believe the amount of support we have had from the Canadians lately. Australia and Canada have always been very close, but lately what the Canadians had been doing for us has been far beyond the call of duty. Thank you eCanada for always supporting eAustralia.

Of course I want to thank all of Asgar😛 Norway, Sweden and Finland. Thanks for putting up with us so far, and thanks for doing your best to fight on our side while we have been in Scandinavia. I want thank all of those communities for supporting Australia and thanks for giving us a congress this month.

Also I wish to thank Asteria and LETO. And all the LETO and Asteria countries not mentioned above who always help us. Also thanks to Argentina for what they have been doing for Australia lately. You have been really good to us. I think that we are lucky to be a part of Asteria and LETO, and I really believe that Asteria and LETO have the most loyal and helpful countries within them. I especially want to thank the Supreme commander of LETO, Andre. You are one of the most brilliant, capable and astute players I have ever met. I don't know how to thank you enough for what you have been doing to help eAustralia lately. I don't know how to repay you for all that you have done. But thank you!

Although our operations are still ongoing in Scandinavia and the final outcome is still uncertain, whatever happens, I just needed to thank all of our friends and allies for being so good to us under such tough conditions lately, and the Australian community extend their deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported us and continues to support us.
