Rearing My Ugly Head Again (Again)

Ladies and Gentlemen,

After having an extremely long break from eRepublik I have decided to pop my head in to a game I had loved playing for as long as I can remember (9 or 10 years, I believe) when I was a teenager going into my adult years. It seems that over the couple of years break I’ve had, eSwitzerland has gained some new faces, and has also welcomed some old ones. We have also lost memorable members of the community that I’m sure we all miss. It also looks like the landscape has changed, so if anyone can update me that would be grand!

From my current understanding, the country is now under attack. However this could be some form of organised occupation. Otherwise, what has overwhelmed our stronghold of freedom?! I am proud to say that I am Swiss, but to tell you the truth, I’m more glad to be back, popping in, and seeing the legacy that I left still going strong.

For those of you whom don’t know me, I am Joseph Rich. I have held the Presidential office of Switzerland for 4 terms as well as being Dictator for one! I've also held various other positions over the course of my time here. I am from Brisbane, Australia and currently work in Government after finishing my Law and Business studies.

As we continue into the new financial year, I will be making myself more available, checking in often and making sure that I keep busy. If you have any tasks I may be able to help you with, or if you’re just up for a friendly chat, please don’t hesitate to contact me!

welcome back to the game. E-swiss area is one of the best and fairest areas that one can play in. Hope you catch up with the new changes and may we continue to have E-Switzerland the way it is.

Lot's of the old people have left, making me feel older than ever.
We are not under attack.... these wars we are in are organized and friendly.
Paul Proteus has moved to eUSA and Fa4con is nowhere around. I miss him.

i remember you!

well, thankfully our e-country isnt invaded (again), but in reality we have many training wars (TWs), which, as rican said above, are very organized and friendly, so we are partners with those e-nations, and not rivals.

secondly, many old faces have left e-switzerland : dillpickl left us to go to e-canada, Paul Proteus returned to the game but went to e-USA, a newer, promising new member of the ARS party, mr felix rex has died recently due to the pandemic (a tragic loss), and some old-ish friends such as fyreous and xeon the joker have returned to the game...

many people came and went, but from the old swiss veterans group, its rican, tim buctu, vincent rekdall, iviz fer, me, liakouris, sheldon and terry to name a few well known names in here.

its a great community and i wouldnt change it for the world.
