Real Life vs eRepublik`s citizens (World Ranking)

A few days ago I wondered myself which country is the best represented in eRepublik. I wanted to see where in this world the eRepublik game had the biggest impact. And I could not take into account just the number of citizens; because every country has a different demography. I wanted to see the percentage of players respect to RL population of their country. Of course, not all the citizens from eRepublik have the same citizenship as in Real Life, but the majority of them they have. Some of them applied for other citizenship because of their natural resources. Anyway here I present the ranking of the most represented countries in this game.
The ranking is dominated by Macedonia, a small country from Eastern Europe. If all their players would have come from this country that would mean that almost 0.5% of Macedonian citizens have an eRepublik account. The other countries are presented below:
Top 19 is dominated by European countries, most of them located in Balkan Peninsula (Eastern Europe). The first non-European countries are Chile and Argentina, ranked 20 and 21 respectively.
On Earth we are about 7 billions inhabitants...
On eRepublik we are 244243 players...
so the percentage of the eRepublik players worldwide is:

ok, ne plac statisticile. Mai fa si altete.
At one point, eRepublik was more accessed in Macedonia then Twitter. I think it was nr. 16 most accessed site in the country.
Admin decisions have driven a great number of players away though.
It would be interesting to see a statistic about percentage of internet users in each country playing. The statistic would look a little different then this one.

19 milioane fara aia plecati inafara, dar sunt multi romani care joaca eRep din alta tara... oricum stam bine (statistic vorbind) raportat la populatia din joc cu cea din tara.

ar trebuii cautata o statistica in functie de cei ce au conexiune la internet ,nu poti sa-mi spui ca in india 1 miliard de oameni au conexiune la internet

Interesanta statistica. Totusi, trebuie retinut un aspect (greu de cuantificat in statistica): jucatorii cu cetatenie straina in joc.

Very interesting article. But in the case of Albania you have to take into account that Albanians living in Kosovo and Fyrom RL play for Albania ingame. (approx. 6 million in total)

35-45% with internet.
