Dear eDanes

It is now one month since we had the most exciting Presidential Elections one could imagine. We saw campaign articles being posted by both me and Ilphen, and the elections came down to one vote. Truly thrilling from start to end.

This month the situation is that I am the only candidate who was truly willing and able to serve as President. We almost had a no-contest elections, but eventually Libertas was added. Unless he states otherwise, he will act as a backup candidate. Ilphen will run in eGermany, but he might return for next month.

Regardless of this situation, in this article I will go through my plans and the team for next month.



Internal politics

In the internal politics we have ATO, economy and information. ATO operations will be under Kristian Klausen. The next elections will be the Party President elections, and it will define how much effort we will be needing in Congress elections and how we will be able to organize the Presidential elections. We will be keeping a close eye on the parties with the help of None's tools.

Economy will be under Bubbi and Maine Coon, who control the treasury. Nothing goes without Bubbi knowing about it, and MC keeps track of most essential spending targets. It is safe to say that we won't be making many new MPP's next month either, but should I become the President, I would give a little more focus on ways to support eDanes than I did during last term. However, my first priority is my own personal capability to help eDanes in form of tanks and other stuff.

Information will mostly rely on myself, but Ushlau and NeueN might contribute too. During the last term I tried Activity for Danes, but the next term I will keep it simpler. I will keep publishing news whenever there is something to be told and in between some more lighter things, like interviews of eDanes.

Foreign affairs

Ilphen was an excellent minister of foreign affairs for the last term. Him being the President of eGermany will make things hopefully even smoother than they were now. Germark improved communication, but there it can still be better. I will lead the foreign affairs as President in NSPP and within Germark, but all members of government will have possibility and responsibility to keep their eyes and ears open, and to keep me posted. Ushlau, NeueN and n0s3 will again be mostly allocated to Foreign Affairs and Defence. If I'm too busy or not available, one of these guys can publish orders, or participate meetings.

NSPP had first joint strike last term, and we will have that again. The Pact aims at defending the members, and being able to coordinate our efforts. We learned a lot last month, and we will need to keep learning. In the immediate history we will need to address the upcoming war between eGermany and eSerbia. We will stand by the Union! Airstrike from eFinland will once again be possible, but the meaning of that in longer term is small. Regardless of them doing it or not, eSerbia is much more bigger concern.

Last term I tried to improve eDenmarks participation in Aurora - alliance with little success. I will try again now with new presidents. I still think that even if we are not given a right to vote, we could still use the real-time information. eDenmark is part of Germark and we can't sign MPPs. This is and will be part of Alliance Treaties, and as such prevents our official membership. I hope for other solutions.




Concrete changes?

As I told last month, the term itself was my presidential campaign. I plan on keeping up the same level of quality, but with slight adjustments. For the next term I don't have major changes in mind, so I won't be giving great promises. The government and the actives will be having more holidays, so it might be that I will need to participate even more. This suits me, though, as being the president of eDenmark is a great honor for me. My goal is the Danish Full Term - 3 consecutive terms, which means that I will be running again next month, and I will need to give again the best term I can. For the next elections however I will try harder to get a second, real candidate so that eDenmark can have the excitement it deserves.
