Population Statistics 9th June. Boom turns to bust.

Day 2,028, 07:33 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Kevy Kev Kev Junior shabado

Hello eRepublik. As part of my return to partial activity to this game I have decided to start writing articles a bit more frequently if time allows. I’m hoping that from this week I can commit to at least an article every two weeks but time will tell if I can keep to that schedule. If data allows me I might also look into returning my other article series “Focus on: (Country)”. Please let me know in the comments what countries I should look at if I ever get the right data for it.

For new readers of my article

I attempt to gather latest figures on the population. Every time I make an article I compare the last set of data with the newest set and identify the best and worst performers.

If someone wants to use the images or just translate this whole article then you have my permission…however please put a link to track back to this original article.

Votes and Comments are always welcome. Subscribe if you’re new here! If you want to be really awesome you should shout this article out. It helps the paper grow and it indicates interest in the series. (Which motivates me to put the effort in to publish them every now and then 😛)

If you vote AND comment you get entered into a prize draw (details below)

These graphs show the data in the table above in a format easier for the eyes.

It was very difficult to choose a winner this week considering the majority of countries have lost citizens but in the end I decided to go with the Netherlands who were able to gain 399 citizens which was the 4th best during this time period allowing them to move 9 places up to 40th. The thing I find most interesting is that the percentage change is 71% which is huge considering the contraction of erepublik this month. Congratulations Netherlands and although you technically have no regions at the moment I hope you are back on the map soon!

The notable mentions this week are Italy and Albania, who were both very close to gaining the winner status this week. Well done and keep it up!

The Loser this week was also very hard to choose as it appears almost every country is doing badly this week. After some deliberation I have decided that Peru is the loser this time around. Peru falls out of the top 10 this month as Turkey overtake them. Peru managed to lose 3109 citizens which is the 4th most lost citizens in this time frame. This caused Peru to manage a 33% contraction. I hope you the best in the next few weeks and hope that this is the end of the death of inactive accounts!

Notable mentions for this week are UAE, Israel and Argentina who all suffered greatly in the last 5 weeks. Argentina actually lost the most citizens by a huge margin but they were still able to retain their first place position.

- Only one Country in the top 10 gained citizens (Turkey)
- The biggest movers in the table are Saudi Arabia (+14) and UAE (-11)
- The difference between the top two is now only just over 2000 whereas the last time I did this article it was 8700! This is mainly due to Argentina losing a lot of citizens recently.
- We have a new last place country! UAE with their losses this week make them now rock bottom. Denmark must be happy.
- Albania and Russia seem to have solid growth and gains. Watch out for these two countries.
- eRepublik lost 33,093 citizens over the last 5 weeks which is a contraction of 13%. This is quite concerning as it is a huge drop in this short amount of time.

Just some quick statistics on the top 5 countries in terms of population and growth changes.

Congrats to Xaeleam for winning the last contest. Please contact me for your prize. I used a random number generator to get the result.
