Welcome to the twenty-first edition of Political Hotspot



The eUK has spoken, and Sir Humphrey Appleby has clearly won the presidential election. It is now time for King William the Great to admit defeat and move on. The eUK doesn't want him in government.

Argentina still owns all regions of the UK and Ireland. In order for the two countries to throw off the invaders, there will need to be a coordinated response. There have been a few resistance wars, but all have failed. What the countries need to do is to exploit any possible advantages that can be gained over the Argentinians. For example, resistance wars should be coordinated so that the Argentinians have to fight both an Irish and a British resistance war at the same time. This could halve their fighting power in each battle. Any advantages that can be gained from time zone differences should also be researched and exploited, since this strategy has worked well in the past, and was used by both sides in the last UK v. Canada war.
