Stealing gold from orgs isn't illegal, if believe admin words, because as they have sai😛 "It is your choice who to believe, but whom not to believe." None says you to GIVE cash.
The same story is about scamming, this "job" isn't illegal in this game, but only if you steal/produce illegal gold, then you will get hardly punished.
There is tiny border between legal and illegal in this game.

yes admins say president gets the orgs and if he gives the login to other people who then steal stuff it is his fault.
but then again the stolen money is not property of the thief

with this argumentation in france admins took the money from the thief but didn't gave it back to the state.


however some other countries have rather good experience with admins in these matters: if you have some connenctions or luck admins will punish the thieves and will get all money back with no big delay.

well black market dealing is something different and even has a wiki page saying that it is your loss when you get scammed there and admins will take no action except if there are law violations involved too - EVERYONE can read this wiki

so everyone who doesn't care about that and thinks he has to save some cents/unit in a deal and then gets robbed of all his money is just stup.d and has got what he deserves.

and yes: wise businessmen may use black market too but only with people they know - so they don't get the best deals maybe. to be sure they let donate the stuff to them first before they pay when dealing with people they don't know. if the other party doesn't want to do that - then it is easy: no deal.

greedy people deal with whomever get's them a better price. but being robbed of your money once will kill all extra profit 100ds of such deals got you - so it is more than dXmb to make deals like that.

Alexander of Babylon... didn't he sell some borrowed region when he was CP or whatever or was that some other guy? i only googled Dalmatae and found black market scams - and what i think about that and how to prevent being robbed that i have written above


and about people in office stealing:
this is just bad luck. everyone you know very good could ragequit and every noob you want to support could be some multi. not much you can do to prevent that*

300g for a country is not much. give me an org and with 500-600g investment i deal 1000-2000cc profit per day with active trading (not currency offers) as an individuum.

oh wow but the Bank of Norway is an Org why was there so much money on one org (or was the congress in on this and transfered the money to the org?). everyone with the login can steal the money from orgs... so you should limit the people with acces to a minimum and if possible only transfer "smaller" sums of money (50-100k with 100k being the max and only if really needed) but not like half a million - thaths just crazy

In Germany, that guy got banned for exploits, but in this situation, it is scamming, it isn't exploit or any bug, its just stealing money from someone, it isn't illegal in this game, admins allow it if you didn't gain access by hacking someone.

and that punishment only shows how arbitrary the admins interpret and enforce laws of erepublik

the "exploit" was him being able to get the money because he was president.

in the past this was everyday business and countries only got PTOed with the aim to get their state money and no one cared. in his case he was unlucky as admins then just decided that this was exploiting... nothing you can do

in fact erep rules stated/or state even now (i don't wanna look it up) that CPs have the power of control over all state money and can do how they see fit
= if they think the money looks more nice in their private account that was fine too and this was the practice in the days before that incident. PTOing countries as CP to steal money was a job like every other - even if it was a not very popular one
