Occam's Razor (secondly, a response to the 'P*ss off Plato' article)
Euphorbus
Two-tiered cake article concerning the recent events of e-UK and, coincidentally, the great (as ever) article by VoodooMike with regards to the attempt to piss off Plato (a distant compatriot).
As far as I can see there is no other better way to annoy Plato than by implementing an incredibly optimistic e-worldwide plan that will - taking into account the recent 'Great RP Schism of e-UK' as direct inspiration - elevate the time period of the game forward a few thousand years and pretend convince ALL in the game that we are living in a time of world peace whereby there are no wars active and thus no need to buy packs, etc. thereby killing the game and either enabling us, as human beings to be forced to ruminate on cultivated grasses outside in the real world, OR ELSE, force the powers that be to improve the game as others have complained about...just as ALL nations become one and ALL become either extremely useful or...useless...
(Or just ignore this and see it as my satirical attempt to advance us all, in RP terms, to the space age and beyond!)

It has been said many times in ten years, people calling for boycotts of wars and such. While nice in theory, it just won't happen. The game might indeed die at some point, but I don't see anyone with this sort of capability.
Unless you're a hacker and you can shut their game and servers down for like, a month.
A strong entry.
I wanted to make an entry, but Plato managed to p*ss of me 😃 It was just a small thing, to add a vote button for messages and comments on the MU feed, but toddle them I don't want the usual answer of "Thank you for your suggestion, we will consider it...bla bla bla" (not the first time trying to give them ideas, but last time was way back), instead I got an answer "I will forward the idea to the team and we will discuss it", which is basically the same answer as always , didn't reply because my answer would have got me banned probably 😃
Death to the Iceni
The trick was not to stop buying it, as you won't be able to coordinate that. The trick would be to stop using national currency on their markets, which accumulates and brings the value of gold down (meaning it's worth less). The more currency you stockpile, and the less you buy stuff with, the more people will have to sell, the less gold will trade on the market. Fight with no weapons where possible, as little as possible, use as little food as possible, and so on.
In order to really force them to do something you'll have to devalue their greatest asset, although you'd literally have to do it for like 2 months straight, and there are far too many two clickers, imo, to pull it off.
yes I am aware of the huge technical difficulties of this task hence why it is a two tiered article - mostly on satire regarding the e-UKs regression back to the classical era!
This simple will not work - Plato will stimulate gold market in another way. I think that new "residence" stuff will stimulate currency and gold market in the game, fighting with less consumption and 2-clickers.
In fact packs and gold that are bought with real money is a real asset here. And you, I or any other player can't do anything against that asset (except not buying packs and gold for real money). You may well know that these things are being bought on a massive scale.
