New server time for Erepublik!
Dear Citizens,
New server time for Erepublik!
We would like to inform you that we will adjust the server hour to comply with Pacific Time.
The reason for this change is to synchronize the cronjobs with the Romanian working hours. This way we will be able to fix much faster the problems that might appear on the cronjobs connected to food consuming, death, elections results and macro-economical statistics.
HR market
One of the next things that we want to improve is the Human Resources page. We've found ways to make it more helpful both for companies and Citizens. We recommend to new Citizens that are searching for a job that besides posting their CV on the market, they also contact directly company managers and ask them for a job.
In parallel, on the forum a thread was created where you can find job offers and Citizens searching for jobs:

Monday we will put live the new modified Marketplace page. You will find there a very cool tool to sort and filter all product offers from the market. We look forward to your feedback.

Pacific Time ? You mean like in San Francisco ?
I guess it is difficult to create times zones, but GMT would be more universal, wouldn't it ? Midnight CA = 9am France day +1, right ?

another time that means more or less nothing to the rest of the word, GMT is universally recognized where as most people (except Americans) have no idea what time that is.

I didn't know Romania was using the pacific time, dude. PS: you have an offset of about 3 minutes and timezones only affect the hour part of the time (not minutes, check it with any NTP [Network Time Protocol] server), so there's something slightly wrong.
I think they mean that midnight PST equates to when they start work in Romania maeghith. And re: the HR page - can you please make it possible to filter out all the people who are employed and also to sort how long a person has been unemployed for?
admin, can u make the interface of EREPUBLIK more sophisticated? at least u can change the font that we use in this website. the article is so boring to read since the font is too classic. can we just use calibri, tahoma,verdana or anything that looks cute?! sorry for my bad english

The new marketplace looks good, but its to little space for the company name...
Marketplace looks nice but I miss the number indicators by the categories that said how many of each product there was.
the forums went a little laggy, but int the end, the time changed with no problems... keep up the good work!

But if you had to make a default time you should have choosed GMT-0 (GMT: Greenwich Mean Time )

Now I have to wait until 09.00 on the morning to work and train >: but that's pretty nice because my school start around that time so the first thing you do in school is to work and train

Dumb Americans.. Even a universal game they want to monopolize.
The marketplace eats my money. I buy gifts, but none of them showed up in inventory. The default '1' value is also buggy, you need to re-type '1' again to make it work.
The marketplace stole my company's inventory even. It happend around the time of the clock-changing.
Just a small question to most of you... did you understand that its not about GMT or US time? It might be problematic for some of you, but its for the beeter functioning of the game. I, personally, prefer to get problems due to date change worked on as they appear instead of waiting... (my opinion of course)

Server time is wrong: Pacitic time is now on Daylight and should be -7. Please fix!
