Join the new world

Dear citizens of eSaudi Arabia,

As most of you already know, I’m the new President of eSaudi Arabia. It’s time for me to talk about my term plans, goals, etc. But before I do that, I will write out the Government list for the next term:

Because I don’t wanna lose time, I’ll get straight to the point: I want this term to get marked with us accomplishing something important.

The first thing I want to do is to create the ultimate legal document that explains everything that goes on in eSaudi Arabia… All the rules and laws in one place. Teaching our newer players what should be done and what shouldn’t will be a lot easier this way. I’ve currently written a good amount of these rules, but the document is still not finished. The current beta version is not ready to be published, but I will tell you about some things which are going to be written in the document:

1) New (improved) political system

The old Government is split into the new Government and the Cabinet. The Government is now a permanent political body composed of the most experienced players who stay the same as time goes on, unless new players are added, or some current Government members get kicked out. The Cabinet is composed of all the newer (less experienced) players who want to help the Government out. Members of the Cabinet are called Deputies, and there are 4 types of Deputies: one for each of the 4 ministries. We currently have only 1 Cabinet member, but hope to get more soon.

2) Country identity

eSaudi Arabia is an eArabic nation, which means that it represents all the eArabs, not just the eSaudi Arabs. All the real life Arabs are welcome to eSaudi Arabia, it doesn’t matter from which Arab country you are in real life. Foreigners are also welcome if they want to come to support the eArabic cause.

3) More information about PTO’s

Political Take Overs (PTO’s) are a very dangerous thing, so I believe it would be useful if everybody knew why PTO’ers are hostile and why we must avoid getting PTO’d at all costs. A special document should be made about that kind of info.

4) General game mechanics rules

Players should know the game mechanics. They can read about it on the eRepublik Wiki, but there should also be a special section in the constitution dedicated to these general rules, like no insults, vulgarity, pornography, spamming, flaming, etc. And definitely no multiple accounts.

So on, and so forth… We’ve never had a constitution before, but I think this will be a useful thing. Other than that, there’s a lot more to be said, but I will let the ministers use their respective newspapers to do that…
