Much a MOO about nothing; or, where has this guy been anyway?

So before this campaign of mine goes any farther, I need to address why I spent the past while in the Ministry Of Opportunity (MOO). There are two simple reasons, the first being I needed a break to focus on university, and the second being I wanted to lend some support to a party that has a great central ethos.

Addy Lawrence made a few central guidelines on how to make this game more enjoyable for all

Character platform:
Opportunity #1: Don't be a dick.
Opportunity #2: Pay It Foward
Opportunity #3: Forgive and Forget
Opportunity #4: Act With Integrity

Game platform:
Opportunity #5: Be A Good Ally
Opportunity #6: Relentlessly Pursue Self-Sufficiency
Opportunity #7: Know Your Stuff
Opportunity #8: Government's Role Is To Provide A Competitive Advantage

It was less a party and more a statement about the kind of community we could have. So I decided to take my vacation there. Now that I am back, I will keep to these values as they mesh very well with our tenets, which in case you have forgotten, are:

1. Uphold the equality of all active Military Units
2. Make the accounting of government funding more open and important
3. Ensure Canada is a reliable and selfless ally
4. To respect, recognize and uphold the supremacy of the mechanics of the game
5. Develop a positive political sphere
6. Bring in Canadians to eRepublik
7. To encourage growth and stability to the eCanadian economy.

I will be working hard to make sure that our congress works for eCanadians. And I will be frank, this is not hard to accomplish. Cooperation among the parties is not difficult in terms of the decisions which affect the game mechanics. The true hard part is selecting congress members who will be active in voicing their concerns about how the CPF will make eCanada a more active and enjoyable place to live. Either through beginner programs or other incentives.

These are the things which I will preside over and I will make sure whomever is in the CP seat knows that we are ready and willing to work with them to keep eCanada a great, if small country.
