Hi there, i'd like you to be next on the Meet the Myrmidons series. What about it?

Wonderful. Let's begin with introducing yourself.

I am a Turkish player living in Kazakhstan. Started to game in October 2010 with a babyboom generated by one of our most popular newspapers. Those days eTurkey was erased by eGreece. We came for help 😃

So how's erepublik 4 years afterwards and when the arch-enemy became the closest friend? We been apart for the last year, but it seems we're going in circles so this may change again soon.

Game was interesting when I started. There were a lot of active players. By spending more time to the game, you could be able to make money from economic module without spending RL money. There were strategies on war module instead of having one man armies.

After wasting some time by being a pro-ONE ally, eTurkey made a serious decision to continue the game with countries which we fought against for years. I think it was a very exciting day for all erep community, the day that eGreece sent an MPP to eTurkey. At the beginning I am sure that we all had concerns. But old players took big roles in order to stop trolls from both sides. I remember that at the beginning of MPP, eGreece did great job to help eTurkey on battlefields. So when it was turn of eTurkey, we also tried our best. Both countries’ players had an opportunity to get in touch with each other. I am very glad to see that players from both sides are even fighting in same MU at the moment.

After the dissolution of EDEN, eTurkey and eGreece fall apart for some time. I see that some MUs in eGreece were not happy with the decision of current government and refused to be a part of new alliance. In these days I see that things change in eGreece and hope to see our countries together in same alliance in near future.

How did you join Myrmidons and how do you like it?

After eTR joined EDEN, our communities had a great opportunity to have relations. I also had, and still have, a lot of players from eGreece in my friends list. Started to follow Myrmidon MU and liked how they have fun playing game and are always loyal to friends. One day commander Iaswn invited me and I did not even think. Sometimes I had to leave for several reasons but always counted Myrmidons MU as home, and I am back home again...

The time for alliances' reconstruction seems to have come once again. They're not dead yet, but there is turbulence that will probably lead at least to changes, perhaps even dissolution of the current ones. What do u think about the current status and what do you see the future holding? Finally, if it was up to you, how would you (re)form them?

We see that eSerbia and ePlonad get closer again. Seems that core countries for new alliance will be eSerbia-ePoland and eHungary. I would like eTurkey to be in the same alliance with old friends, eGreece, eCroatia and eArgentina.

You seem to know what you want and you're pretty clear about it. Let's move on. What's your favorite module of the game? How do you like spending your time online?

I was spending time for economical module when it was worth for it. I remember that i could generate 5-6 gold profit from my Q5 weapon factory daily. As you all know game administration killed it.
For sure I spent a lot of time tanking like hell 🙂

What about politics? You have half a dozen congress medals and a couple presidential ones. How do u like it?

Yeah, I have some medals but politics is absolutely not for me. I was CM for several times, because sometimes in eTR we need experienced players to be in parliament in order to prevent troll law proposals.
Many times I was asked to be a candidate for CP and I always rejected these declaring that I am just a soldier. On January 2013, some friends from INCI party asked me to run for CP and could not refuse and became a candidate. Those were very hard times for eTR as we had been invaded by ePoland and eHungary. After the day I got elected we lost our last core region 🙂
Being a CP is a hard issue but being a CP in eTR is really something different 🙂 Although you spend lots of your time, run between meetings, use your own resources, it sometimes does not make any sense and there are a lot of players to criticize and try to spoil what you are trying to do. Even impeachment laws 🙂
My second CP story, I count as a mistake. I should get my lesson from the first time 🙂
