Magic Hereos for Prime Minister!

Hello!

My name is Mateusz(translate😛 matthew), and I’m running for position of Prime Minister this month. I started playing active about 2 years ago, it was in ePoland. In my life in eRepublik I’ve been a minister many times, in the government of ePoland, a few time in congress, also I led the ONE alliance as its Military Commander. Militaries and Diplomacy



eUK, as a small country, needs to be in good alliance. Getting into good alliance will be our main goal in this term. We can’t be wiped again, especially after being off the map for months. Our national treasury’s decreased in size(more in Financial part), and losing congress would destroy the rest of it in the cost it’d take to free ourselves. So, as a candidate for President of the United Kingdom, I promise to do my best in securing borders against enemies, not only by our militaries, but also by diplomacy. As you can see, ePoland made treaty with France, in which there’s a clause that France can not attack our country. That’s what true allies do, and I’ll do my best to have all allies like it and maintain great relations with ePoland.

I’ll continue to fund the BEF and give it the best supply possible with our financial situation; they’re doing a good job at running it now and I’ll let that continue.




Finances



eUK finances have a bit of a crisis- not severe, but we’re not exactly in a great position either. In 1 year our national treasury had decreased by about 2000 gold, and we have less GBP reserves than I’d like. If I’m elected, we’ll do investments in gold using the monetary market, to get more money for our military & MPPs. I can not promise cuts in it, but we will cooperate with other countries Ministries of Finance to get useful tips about getting more money from investments. I have a lot of experience with this from my time in ePoland, in fact the main job of my MoF back then was using the MM to our advantage, by selling gold on multiple orgs at once, taking advantage of an admin bot that takes gold out of the system- this is still in operation so we’ll definitely start this up.

Congress



As I could see on the forum, there was an idea for writing reports from congress each week. In my mind it’s great idea and I really would like to create such position as Congress Leader, who would write reports, and would be elected by congress on forum. Our society needs to know, that congress work hard to help new players, and also these older in getting stronger for our country. To be clear, this would be different from the old ‘Speaker’ position you used to have, in that this position would be more about reporting to the public than ‘policing’ congress as the Speaker did.


Ministry of Home Affairs



In my presidency there will be no MoHA. The Leader of Congress, elected by parliament, will do all things which MoHA should do, and congress can decide what those are this month. I will of course give guidance in this, as needed, but in the wake of recent discussions I believe congress should take the lead role on this.

Also I’d like to make NHS private (it can get donations from people to help new players), and add list of private schemes in the MoD newspaper. Our country should support new players, but not by giving them food. Most of them will anyway leave game, and it’d be money lost. Also it’s game admins thing, to hold players in game, not ours- we can certainly do our part to convince them to stay but ultimately the quality of the game will impact them far more. We can only help them with advice, and they can use our schemes, but as you can see in Finances part, our country loses money with each month, or certainly doesn’t build up the necessary reserves, so we really should make new money, because when we will lose our treasury, then not only new players won't get help - also our country won’t be able to defend against other countries because of no funds for supplies.


Goverment



I take only most trusted by me, and eUK society people for main ministers (like Talon Karrde for vCP), but in my mind, everyone active player can be tested and work in government. That’s why I will take each person who applies to my team. Especially in Ministry of Defence it’ll be used - we need lots of volunteers to help main MoD giving supplies when our country is in danger. As I’ve already spoken about expanding the MoF, people will be needed there. Also ambassadors will be welcome - getting information about the society & political events in other countries is really important for an effective Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in this political climate we need all the information we can get!
